EDIT: Yeah, I hate getting picked on too. But so far, from playing EVE, I'm getting used to it. I just moved into Lowsec and I'm getting my **** kicked in; however, I'm getting better at defending myself and avoiding people / docking up whenever I see someone.
EDIT2: Also, shouldn't this be in the War Room? I'm not sure. this should be in every forum, this should be in the login sceen, and CCP should stop attacks like these because everyone knows without new players this game is absolutely fuc ked As the CEO of DUST 514's second largest New Player Training Corp, I have experienced this scenario many times. The struggle for Immortal Guides when we held our first Districts in the fall of 2013 was in explaining to the Big PC Corps who we were and what we were doing. Several Corps who attacked, such as SVER True Blood, agreed to turn their attacks into training battles once I contacted them and explained that we were just trying to develop new PC players. Of course there will be some Corps that don't care and just want to Greif you, but if the Corps that support you are more powerful, then you can always get Ringers to help, or get another District later.
The point is that I see no reason for CCP to step in. This is the Meta Game. You have to build your support base, build your Corp's credibility and reputation. If the Community supports what you do you will be successful.
Now granted, that much diplomacy can be exhausting. I got tired of it, so now I simply delegate it to a group of Directors and have them run PC training for my Corp. Most of what I know about what my Corp is doing in PC these days I get from Corp and Alliance mails. Last week I had to go into the Corp menu to see if we even had a district. Turns out we do.
Also, if you don't like how your Alliance is treating you, read up on the Learning Alliance. We can always use another training Corp.

If you are talking about the game in general, there are still new people starting to play DUST every day. If you can nab them before they get discouraged, and give them a little guidance they tend to stick around. There is a surprising number of former Immortal Guides members in large PC Corps today. Players who might not still be here if I had not helped them get started. The New Player Experience in DUST is in poor shape, but Rattati knows this and continues to pick away at fixing it.
There are also a lot of people who left the game who have been coming back in the last couple of months, and they all seem very happy with where the game is going.

There are also a lot of people who left the game who have been coming back in the last couple of months, and they all seem very happy with where the game is going. theres less than 2000 people on at peak each day, people said destiny would kill this game, well it didnt, but it did take half its ******* playerbase, so unless CCP shanghai actually have something to WOW everyone with, come christmas time with the PS4/Xbone sales and all the new games from E3 out or approaching launch, this game will actually be dead, which would be a shame because this is the most interesting game I play. And so long as the new players (if they are actually new and not alts because more than half the people in academy battles are just alts) get thrown into this piece of **** game facing 3 year old vets, they dont want to play this ****, how many of your friends have you successfully been able to get into this game? Sure EVE is the same its a hard game and its still growing ever so slowly, but EVE players are not stuck in PvP only area for 3 years straight and theyre constantly getting new content.... Who cares if some people are coming back more people are LEAVING Most of the team in the Shanghai Office have been working on content for a new platform since ~ September 2013, while Rattati has been focused on improving the Core game balance. We will have PVE and Wow factor when DUST moves to a new platform. In 2014 CCP assumed the new platform would be PC, but they were not fully committed since DUST seemed to be a failure. Then late in 2014 DUST became profitable on the PS3 and CCP stopped talking about Legion because they were no longer sure which platform they wanted to go with. Those who remain in DUST are helping Rettati mold the core game so that when it is release on a new platform there will be some reasonable balance from the beginning. Yes, we will likely lose even more players in the Christmas rush, however I expect a new platform announcement at FanFest 2016. I also expect that the Beta on the new platform will be ready when they announce it, or soon after. They have been working on it for over two years now after all.
Also, when CCP created DUST they had no experience with FPS games. Now they have experience. They also now have Rattati. I have high hopes for DUST on the new platform having many more of the needed core features and doing a better job than the first time around. Expect full PVE, and full Player to Player markets right out of the gate at the very least.
