1. Act like you know what you're doing. Have a clear objective for your corporation and let it be known, whether it be in a recruitment thread or when pitching your corporation to players in game.

2. Offer your players content. Players need to know why it's better to be in your corporation as opposed to an NPC corp. As a leader you are responsible for things like organizing FAC war squads and engaging with your members.

3. Offer PC, don't require it. It is true that some players are uninterested in PC, but there are also many new people looking to make the dive into PC, be the avenue for them to do that. Mail me in game and I can more than likely hook you up with a district if you don't have one as well as help train your players on effective PC tactics through a few friendly battles.

4. Most importantly, be a leader. Its your duty to keep things running smoothly at a corporate level. Make sure morale doesn't dip. Have standards when recruiting, take the extra minute to look up a players dustboard, ask corp members if any of them have had positive (or negative) relations with the applicant. If you lose a PC battle do not rage, it creates an environment detrimental to corp morale, talk about what went right and what needs to be tweaked the next battle and then act on it.
