Imagine waiting for battle against regular players then you end up fighting drifters in a match. Harvesting as many clones as they can. You lose the match if they cloned your team out. And you only win by destroying all their clones. Imagine that happening in planetary conquest and faction warfare the reaction of teams or corp or faction would be epic.

The reward would be given to players who are the top in drifters kill in the lenght of the said event. The reward would be your very own officer dropsuit bpo. Because you are the heroes of new eden. You saved all of new eden from the drifter calamity/tragedy/menace/apocalypse.

Divorced from Dust/EvE interactions. I propose the devs get drifter skins and buffed stats on their vehicles and officer dropsuits and make flash "invasions" when they are online. Maybe have volunteers to play as the Drifters as well to assist the devs. I will have EvE side support both ob's and eve side forums on this more details to follow as I work with my eve side to brainstorm more ideas on this. Acq mode with a cru would be perfect for this IMO since after reading Templar one this could be considered both an act of retribution and bolstering forces. Honestly I think a skin would be better IMO though. Oh and the random pc idea for those that lock districts incessantly would be amazing.
