In a recent Game Theory video it is shown that colors have an effect on matches. In team deathmatch FPS games the red team is shown to win 55% of matches.
When I play Dust 514 I am ALWAYS put up against those red team asshats What the hell CCP?!
CCP Rattati, you have shown proficiency with analyzing raw data then using it to balance Dust 514. Please fix match making so I am up against some of those blueberry morons every so often.

Ripley, I don't think the red chevrons above an enemy affects performance since the chevrons above friendlies are also red to the enemy. The colors on dropsuits and skins themselves, however, might make a compelling argument.

balanced is dictated by competitive players, which we don't have many of, some are fairly good players but a lot of "the best" take advantage of little bugs glitches or just plain out never play without backup which is not bad in it of itself you just cant dictate how good a single player is if their kills are a team effort
the experts of each field that don't have bias need to come together to discuss what the ups and downs are of each class, item, etc then we can go from there
but even if this game had "true balance" a lot of people would complain just because a better player or an equally skilled player killed them
all these numbers do not = to true balance
you may have on paper two guns that look balanced but in reality one could have horrible kick (RR) and the other negligible kick (ScR) making the two completely unbalanced thats just one example I am not trying to promote anything but it's pretty obvious that the ScR beats out the RR when fighting against both armor and shields only up to extreme ranges were at that point any armor tanker can just passively rep health back up while the Caldari do not due to the dependence on Shields which is the reason why the threshold should be increased in my opinion but alas any help shields can get is good to me
