First was Tera Online, F2P so I could hang out with my son and his gamer girlfriend. Quite the pair, the game is weirdly fun if you like sword and sorcery with some guns type of game play. Korean authors (as far as I know) with males and females both showing a lot of skin. Swimsuits that appear as skins over your actual armor is ... different. Funny more than sexy.
Second was Dust514. One friend was on. I have quit playing my alt heavy, just not worth the time to get him back up to PRO suits even though he has PRO gear and weapons. Of course I played KR, that was boring/frustrating. Nothing to accomplish in the dailies. I tried a few matches and the RDV held onto my tank for nearly a minute delaying my starting into a Dom. Two Red tankers (one that I know) had firm control of the center of the map and the blues settled down to snip from ridges or building tops. Waste of time. Booked.
Third was Planetside 2. The intent was to only gather my daily Cert bonuses. But, as happens in PS2 often, I got sucked into defending a facility. An hour later I logged out. Too many things to do in the morning or I would have stayed longer.
At least I ended on a high note. I have quit playing Dust514 as the last game of the day. I find it leaves me ticked off more often than not and takes me longer to relax and get to sleep. Plus, my friends that are still around tend to play in US evenings lately.
My favorite tank is a Lightning. Just sayin.

Story snd lore seem to beat human interaction more and more in my opinion since you don't expect NPC's to use OP gear or troll you. I am waiting for Fallout 4 to scratch that particular itch. I have 100% on two systems for FO3, while FO:NV I never finished on two. That is because I don't like the endings.
Rest of my available time is in Dark Souls. There I on NG++ and will need to do one more to get 100%, then I am going to switch to PC and try various strategies with the included DLC.
Rats, I almost forgot. I am going to redo all of Mass Effect 1 & 2, since I have ME3 but have yet to start it. I don't have ME1/2 saves where I can extract them to PC (I think anyway, they are both Xbox 360 solutions).
Lots of games, lots to do. I only got into MMOs with Dust514. Normally I don't do any online play. Co-op in Borderlands 1 and 2 with my son and some additional local friends for B2.
I have Dragon Age Inquisition, just haven't moved very far in it. I am hoping the sword and sorcery bits in Tera will peak my interest in that type of game. I prefer playing First Person View/Shooter or third person over the shoulder. Sadly I am not that good at controlling a party like in DA.
My favorite tank is a Lightning. Just sayin.

Maximus Mobius wrote:Well if you have next gen, go get the metro redux and get borderlands the handsome edition. Those can water you down for a bit. Also play rage. From the view of the gameplay, it shares similarities with FO4. Also try out Batman arkham night if you really want to. No next gen as yet. When I do it will be a PS4 so I can play PS2 with my old Dust friends.
I have Metro redux on Steam already, both versions and finished them both, finished Rage (good gun game but too little of it). Batman is ... okay, but not worth any more investment. I have the first two although I don't recall if I finished them.
