Seeing this blew me away. If you've played DayZ or Rust or other group survival games were fabric color can come into play for friend or foe identification in lieu of your HUD marker you have an idea where I'm going. There are tremendous possibilities for this type of integration in Low Security Pub Battles, Planetary Conquest and Faction Warfare if your feeling masochistic.
The idea is to turn off or scramble primary features of the tacnet (as shown in the video this includes the map, chevron markers) either a.) around the null cannon objectives or b.) the global map. They may even be periodic weather hazards specific to a planet.
Giving SKINS a tactical advantage and placing greater emphasis on team communication. CCP would provide the basic full body red and blue SKINs to all players (red eyes & blue eyes respectively), however this free availability would make those items easily available for subterfuge by the enemy team. Buying a SKIN, reduces this chance. Teams may be more inclined to invest in SKINs in order to coordinate when the tacnet and chevrons go down in these areas. Teams would build their own SKIN fitting doctrines for how and when to switch their suit visuals. |

I already knew how to do this ..
Do you guys know how to remove the weapon from showing ? Or access Infinite charge on the ScR while running ? ;) Little do you all know.. |

I think that be great, although as always the community would have many mixed emotions about this. But I feel The Newberries would hate it so it would have to be a higher up kind of deal ? Like a game mode for the Vets. A nice challenge. |

These environment challenges are for seasoned teams. |

If you're not on comms and basing friend or foe recognition of suit color then cloak users are SOL around objectives if not standing perfectly still.

I'm less keen on relying purely on skins and coms. What it appears you are asking is the entire removal of the only ewar we have in the game, to be quite honest, its one of the only reasons why I find this game more interesting as it adds another level to the game, whereas other shooters just have an all or nothing approach to this. Also this would only work with full qsync teams vs full qsync teams, whereas sometimes you get only 2 or 3 squads in a match to coordinate with even on FW. In short its a very limited proposition if I understood your suggestion correctly as this would only best be applied to corp v corp.
I'm not sure if you are familiar with MWO, but essentially the role of the light mechs (beyond circling), is to scout out enemies to allow the longer ranged users to lock on and shoot back.

While not everyone would agree I actually think it would be fun to have scouts that worked as sensors / harriers for the team.
You'd have to change a lot to make this work but considering how powerful information is, you could theoretically dedicate most of the scout to aspects revolving around information gathering, information denial / deception, etc as a rewarding wp system. Essentially, scouts become very necessary without role bleeding into slayer / combat roles, which removing a whole suit type from a heavy slayer role would only benefit game balance, for the same reasons logis don't have to kick ass as well assaults due to equipment, scouts could become module heavy and tacnet / hack driven.
Might be to ambitious (or just plain bad), but I these are my thoughts as it pertains to entertaining the idea of the OP.

It would certainly hand a big advantage to a team or squad on comms against those who weren't...not that that isn't already true. |

Not full removal, but rather the option to remove, or a separate gamemode in which it is removed.
Would said gamemode result in the abandonment of scanners and E-War mods in favor of tank, speed and damage? Yes.
But would it also put a premium on communication, strategy and coordination? Most definitely yes.
EVE already has an entire region of space that forces you to navigate "Blind" relying on your skills at scanning and probing down your enemies before they do the same to you.
Of course, "Because EVE does it" is never a valid argument for anything Dust related, but the precedent is there and ready for exploitation.

The flux warbage strike should be renamed EMP strike and disable the Tacnet/Cortex like in the video, for a set amount of time. Same should be applied to the Flux grenades, the higher the tier of the -Śnade, the longer its effect, or maybe have different variants like uplinks, with some having enfasis in range, others in duration effect and a regular one.
(Both the grenade and the strike should still deplete the shields and destroy equipment, in case it wasnt obvious)
This would step up Ewar in the game. I dont know if the ideas i said above are the best, but after watching the video something was made clear to me:
This has to be implemented in the game.

I once kept switching weapons rapidly and my weapon turned invisible.
I spawned invisible.
I spawned, and my weapon was invisible.
I climbed a ladder, and lost the visibility of my weapon.
Jumped off a ladder, invisible weapon.
Activate Dampeners at the exact time you hit the ground. You either A) take damage, and bounce up in the air just to land and properly go through the landing animation, or B) get an invisible weapon and go Super Saiyan, if you're lucky.
Get in the car, leave empty handed.
Get rezzed.
All of these happened to me. Just play Dust and you're bound to bump into 10-24 bugs per play session.
