Other weapons have 10% increase between std and proto but plc over 25%. Is this is intentional to make better at av while making it op or screw up?
The Plasma Cannon is the counter to Brick Tanked, Logi supported Sentinels. It has enough drawbacks not to be OP.

Thinking back to when they added the PLC I never EVER thought I'd see so many posts whining about it. People who kill you with it are good. Just bow down and respect it. Learn to use the weapon. If someone aces you with one, send them a GG mail. Or tears if that's what gets you off.

Get into a 1 vs. 1 fight with a forge while wielding a PLC. There's no casually side stepping a forge round.
Acquisition is terrible, matchmaking is terrible, your game is still riddled with bugs, you should feel bad.

If your going by damage then nova knives would have to class as a heavy weapon too xD - darn those min scouts

you can jump+sidestep a PLC projectile.
you cant evade a well aimed forge gun.
so I would say, they are both about equal in CQC. |
