This game has been too much for me. Today I quit dust. Countless hours wasted.
This game has no future, i see nothing changing, just right now i came out of a match, where there was constant proto usage on each side, i lost about 10 suits, the lag was everpresent, and yet the enemy somehow spawned in proto after proto. Losing 1m trying, getting top 3, and what do i get paid? A paltry 250k. Swarm launchers obliterating every DS, Madrugars and Proto Gunnlogis standing invincible. My FG unable to take down any. Redline snipers, Heavies with Snipers getting kills without risk.
Every match, countless blueberries straight from the acadeemy on our side, not bothering with the objective, while i keep pushing and pushing, my wallet suffers. What do i get? An insignificant amount of isk for trying. Sometimes i might join at the end, the battle even or our side losing, i still try, losing a protosuit or two in the process, a few adv suits, a few officer weapons. Yet the payout is still inequal to my efforts. Joining near the end, getting 10 kills, losing a few suits, each a 100k, is completely disappointing.
Barely any actual patches, fixing the op, yet skins after skins, aur sinks after aur sinks getting revealed. CCP once said that choice matters in the eve universe. And then they introduced respecs. Every person, now with a gallogi, a galscout, an amsalt, a madrugar, hopping to every new fotm. People buying combat packs with no care for isk, able to protostomp all the time. They don't care that their payout is low or not, they can keep trying for their team. Triple stacking boosters getting an obnoxious amount of sp every week, while the rest are barely progressing. APEX Skins for new players, yet i see the opposite effect. No risk.
FW Matches are now impossible to get into if you live anywhere other than the US. Waking up all night just to get into a few matches is not worth it. Losing gives you barely anything, a suit or two, no standings. Winning too is still not profitable enough, for the effort you put in. Most of the times either side lacks any competiiton, blueberries/redberies not knowing what an objective is.
On to PC, the worst lag ever, having to constantly reset, DC's everywhere, Only a mil or two payout is nothing. Most of the times, you spend 3-5m(Even moreso for vehicles). Even winning does not usually give enough of a reward. FOTM, abusable tactics being seen everywhere. Sometimes, you might wake up at 3 am for a PC, just to find its a noshow, and leave disappointed. The FF mechanic limits the use of explosives in this mode, Mass Drivers give you more friendly kills than enemy.
The gameplay itself is terrible, strafing easily abusable(not only on minassaults, but on every frame except heavies). There is rarely any actual legit strafing going on, just the wiggle wiggle. Shots missing, snipers headglitching, or the dmg not registering. FGs/PLC barely scaring any tanks, while AV nages and Swarms shred them. Scans everywhere, yet no links or nanos. Amarr sentinel still the #1 Heavy, yet nothing has been done about it. The minsents gimped speeds being the only of its class compared to the heavy. Minscouts the supposed to be speedhackers, are outperformed at that role by galscouts, which can actually damp enough to be of any use. An ishukone ARR doing almost the same dps as an AR, yet having twice the Range. Getting killed after turning the corner by a RR. The CR's ability to shred armor pales in comparison to that of the SCR to shields.
The NPE is still terrible, players enjoying the academy thrown to the sharks as fodder, only after a couple of matches. Matchmaking, Team-balancing having no effect, joining midgame, Players leaving every time, and there is a reason, thier efforts are usually not rewarded. Why try when you dont gain anything. Why waster your isk? Your time? Your efforts?
Perhaps the only good memories i have in this game was making friends, having fun with them. But its time for me to go. I've had enough. o/
