Spawn camped by CCP?
yep.
That pretty much says it right there. Half the time I spawn in I'm in the middle of 1-4 guys, sometimes more and often 2-3 or facing 2-3 while sitting in a corner with the only way out through them and nobody else on my team around.
Bring in Team spawning and lose the random anywhere spawn. Just drop people in close proximity to there team or maybe even in an open area where they can move, away from there team and enemies. |

Be nice if it were drop spawning instead of insta-spawn, that way we could direct our fall and have time to load the screen. |

Well there's lots of camping in Eve too. I think better coms would help this a lot because if your spawn point is camped calling a tank or lav would improve your odds immensely. You have ten seconds before spawning to call for support so as long as your team is paying attention (once coms are up and running smoothly) it could be three or four easy kills for whoever has a decent vehicle. |

The issue with that is you don't actually know where you will spawn until you spawn into the match and then you have to rely on map memory and radar to identify your position.
I like the idea of drop spawning being applied to the ambush maps. Any map where you could conceivably drop spawn actually. |

I think one thing that would surely help with spawning whether it might hurt some gameplay or not is that the model does not appear to others until after the person has loaded.
It's a pretty close call with the way it runs currently but most of the time, you barely are able to move at all before they can start shooting. This does give spawn camping a pretty good advantage sadly.
For example, I was on defense earlier and had just started a hack to retake point b. I then figured out where the spawn was and stood behind it with a shotgun. Pretty short story even shorter, one decent shotgun user ensures the capture as long as he gets it started and finds the spawn point.
To truly fix it even though it might bother some people, on spawn, the model should be invisible for about a second and a half. It actually is a bit of a long time, but if everyone is informed of it, then when it happens people will not be bothered and there will be less shooting a person before they can move. |

ccp have already admitted this is a bug. were ment to randomly spawn in an area around the CRU. which is being sorted. |
