Just a thought. There are some easy to describe areas of the map were things get glitchy/laggy, like the stairs leading up to objective A in the compound at Biomass. And then there are a few random areas out in the field near rocks and on slopes that have rough edges or you can get stuck on. Though to be honest the map has been pretty good considering the state of this build, occasionally I've got stuck crouching under an overhang but only temporarily.
It's a bit tricky to describes were these areas are as it is, so I propose that coordinates are displayed in a corner somewhere so when submitting bug reports CCP know exactly where to look. |

I second this
stupid little map issues probably aren't on high of the list of things to look at right now but it would be nice to be able to report them some how
I know one spot that you get completely stuck in a little tiny hole and can't move out of it just spin in circles
edit: even if its push R1/2 L1/2 to bring it up would be nice |

Also cos shouting "Hostiles spotted at grid ref XXX,YYY" is better than "Help they are behind the big boulder thingy!" |

that grid request system is a different thread this one is more for troubleshooting/error reporting map areas |

..only if it boils down to a realistic GPS reading: North, East, and Altitude(m), and only when you check it rather than continuous throughout play. Get stuck; take GPS reading.
Need GPS Reading; take GPS Reading.
Having a Range and direction Finder in Sniper scopes would be nice too; then you could give your squad mates your position, then relay range and direction from that position provided you don't move too much.
The readings could be in meters and relevant to the map, rather than relying on some global scale that changes from planet to planet, and moon to moon. Standardized, but not an x,y,z coordinate system is what I mean; they parallel, but I want to have the impression it's planetside and not in a 3D rendering engine or something. ..even if it is.

Actually, they could merge the two as it boils down to the same thing, provided you can't point at someone and give their exact coordinates to your teammates with the push of a button. It should be relevant to your position and a direction and range from there imo.
Just pointing at a target, clicking and saying he's at x,y,z kinda sucks.
edit: actually, maybe that would be cool. It's not like the technology doesn't already exist and you could combine it with commands to eliminate target that highlighted the individual somehow for your Command group. It should be a module though, and should take a proper target lock and a second or two to calculate.
That would make it useful on vehicles and less so on mobile infantry, but still possible on any target. |

There's going to be artillery turrets at some point it seems, so being able to have forward spotters utilise coordinates to communicate with the mobile artillery guys to accurately guide in shells on a target would be excellent. |
