Hello all,
Good to see you. Hope all is well and there's enough ass kicking to go around. It's been a while.
Games haven't taken much of my life up as of late, I arrived home from travelling in March and have since been working full time, having Uni coming up in September. PS3 ain't much of a thang and PS4 is not a priority expenditure.
However, Planetside 2 is around the corner and 843 is hoping it's going to be next in line with these kinds of games, along with MAG and of course Dust 514.
We'll be hitting the game as hard as we can with what we've got, taking a large amount of our players over there on the release date and hopefully spreading fast.
No, we don't know what faction we will land upon yet (If we choose only one).
Anyway, I've come to you all with the offer of joining us in this venture on the Playstation 4. It's releasing June 26th as a free download, and I know it wasn't all that on the PC some might say but it's a decent game and has come even further on the Playstation.
I know this will be subject to heavy trolling, and frankly, I'm quite excited about that. It's been a while since I've had a ribbing from you lot (and a rimming).

Ps2...I love it but not really worth the time it's not fun enough to play when it has no point

Pretty sure the phrasing there is that Planetside wasn't all that on PC, not that he wasn't all that in DUSTs PC.

That's my general take but I remember thinking that about Dust and it ended up being pretty awesome for quite a while! we'll see. You know where to find me when it's out

FA has a group playing and I've seen Hawkin on it as well. I sent you guys off a message on Enjin, if you fight for Vanu as well then we have 3 groups we can coordinate together. <3
Honestly we need an Enjin group for all Dust vets doncha think? We might have shed blood and said things in there hallowed threads that we wouldn't want our mothers seeing, nevertheless on other games nothing wrong with piling on together and making friends of former foe's.

could never get into it in its current state for this
still no point to the battles atm and zerg combat zzzzzzz esp if no end game to it

Anyone else have trouble with friendly fire in PS2? I think probably a third of my deaths were to FF. Identification friend or foe (IFF) is much less clear than Dust, Battlefield, etc.
Also the game feels really directionless. It's like an endless Dust pub, without even the small satisfaction of an end of match screen.
Technically it's obviously on a different level to Dust but the drawbacks are pretty big. |

I like cruising around in my Harrasser! Sadly I can't enjoy the full extent of it with only a maximum of 750 of that one currency I can't remember.

FF is ridiculous in ps2..vanu has the worst carbines/assault rifles..vanu has the most team killing nerds..why did dust players have to choose vanu? I've about had it with the purplenurples

FA has the worst teamkilling nerds. I hate being killed for no reason though. I once saved some guy from an enemy behind him, and he turned around and killed me, probably thought I was shooting at him.
