What if:
All (non AV) light weapons do damage to vehicles based on their proficiency level? And you increase this output by leveling in fitting optimization
So if I use the rail rifle as an example (prof is armor based)
Add 20% damage efficiency to vehicle armor per level to the fitting optimization
This is not 20% additional damage, this allows you to do a percentage of dmg to a vehicle up to 100% - only based on what the weapons proficiency is.
So if the proficiency is armor then it can only do damage to armor. And vice versa for shields
Plasma cannon would be exempt from this And The mass driver would get either/or 10% - 15% per level because 100% damage might be too much (Minmando?) |

Rather just have extra skills for the weapon's that allow that, proficiency however most notably need's to go back to being +15% straight damage and not this profile damage nonsense.

Because noobs still don't get the fact that you're not supposed to shoot at a tank with an AR??

Non-AV light arms fire shouldn't be able to damage a HAV. Leave AV work to the AV weapons.

I get that they damage LAVs, but no way they should damage Havs. |

Sorry to disappoint you, Darkstalker, but it would be best that a non-AV weapon shouldn't do a an actual AV weapons job.

I think weak spots should take full damage by regular weaponry or at least 50%+whatever bonus you get for hitting the weak spot
you do get more damage off on weak spots already more then the regular dmg so if you want to be more effective learn the weak spots and use them to your advantage |

Why should non-AV weapons cut into the Avers role?
