I am hoping beyond belief for a PS4 slim with SSD and no bluray drive.
I have put off buying a PS4 just because I know the second version will be far more superior and I am really ready to move to PS4.
EDIT: Even if it does not have a SSD that is fine as I can pull the one out of my PS3 but that would mean the end of Dust for me totally. |

CCP better port DUST ASAP with all these new releases on next-gen, else I fear that DUST really will die... All who will be left will be the Latinos...  Heck, even I'm considering ditching my PS3 in favour of a PS4 or PC. 
A rushed port will just leave us in the same position of having a bug filled, incomplete game. The difference is this time it will be trying to compete with a flood of major AAA titles.
I have accepted that the near term future (1 - 2 years) of gaming for me does not include Dust right now. I truly hope that CCP wisens up and gives a direction that includes making some good decisions so that that does not come true.
On a more important note:
LESS THAN 1 HOUR TO THE SONY PORTION OF E3.
Lets all hope and pray its not just a showing of Project Morpheus and some babble about upcoming games. Microsoft really threw down the gauntlet so Sony needs something to crush that excitement.

That's the route tons of people are heading. I know 20 - 30 people personally right now that moved up to PS4 and said oh well at least I will have passive SP if they ever get their **** straight. I have personally been doing more PC gaming and just using Dust for my controller fix. The games coming out right now are getting me very excited about the PS4 tho.
I hope there is at least one CCP employee at E3 that has to do with Dust so that they are seeing how grim the path they are on right now is for them.

No Man's Sky - An open world sandbox in space with Dog Fighting, PVE, PVP, Trading, Exploring and more. Ummm I think I will reserve comment on that.
That game after No Man's Sky - Totally missed it was looking for more No Man's Sky stuff.
Firewatch - Not sure I saw anything interesting there.
Destiny The Taken King - May look good but that whole series just got killed for me in Beta.
Assassin's Creed Syndicate - Looks like a great addition to the AC line but I have grown bored of it. I did not even complete AC3.
World of Final Fantasy - Zero care given. No thanks.
Final Fantasy Remake - Never been a fan of the series.
Devolver - Missed it while posting.
Shenmue 3 - Looks good don't really know anything about it.
COD Black Ops 3 - Not really a big interest myself but can not deny the graphics look sick.
Star Wars + Disney - Interesting, Just interesting.
Star Wars: Battlefront - We have all seen these trailers. Was cool to see a little more info on the game tho. Add on after the other trailer: Holy hell those graphics. I felt like I was watching a Star Wars movie.
Well looks like that's a wrap.
I feel like Sony had a kind of mediocre E3. As odd as it sounds it looks like Microsoft and their backwards compatibility is going to be the big news for E3.
I was REALLY hoping for the PS4 slim to get announced but I suppose I will just have to buy a regular PS4 and toss the SSD from my PS3 in it. The big question is just which game release will be the one that makes me do it.
Quite a line up but I was less than impressed. They definitely gave some titles to look forward too but overall only a couple that will make me willing to jump without waiting on the slim to finally ship. |

Battlefront is one of the top titles in there for me along with No Man's Sky that have me willing to take the leap.
I am so interested in waiting on the PS4 slim because the current one is still having trouble pumping out 1080p @ 60 frames even for the top developers. That is going to make it tough to draw me to PS4 until then just because I do not want to have to turn around and buy a new copy of the same system to get the best quality. |

I don't think remember hearing about the PS3s Slim version getting better frame rate or graphics. I could be wrong though. I know they have talked about a new PS4, but really it was just a couple minor hardware changes, nothing major. It could just be a matter of developers still needing to learn how to optimize for the system.
There have been specific references to a few hardware tweaks including dropping the blu ray drive and adding a SSD off the shelf to make it easier for developers to be able to really push out the maximum performance.
These are both things that interest me just because I hate load times and only do digital content so basically even if it only gets a few more frames for some games it is still a system perfectly suited to what I want.
