Do repair tools give 25 WP for a set amount of armor repaired?
If that is true, do higher tier repair tools give more WP per second in rewards because of there higher repair rates? |

I believe you get 25 WP per set amount of Armour repaired. Otherwise, you'd get the same amount of WP for repairing a Cal Scout as you would for repairing an Amarr Sentinel, if it were percentage-based. So yes, you would get more points/second using Proto Repair Tools than you would if you were using Standard because of the faster rep rate, even though the total amount of points earned would be the same for both Repair Tools, providing you had unlimited time.

Its based off of time. The better rep tools actually give you less points. Mlt needle and rep tool is the best way to farm WP..

This is incorrect. Try using a core focused then switch to a mlt. You will notice an immediate and drastic change.

Only reason you get less wp is that you cap out faster, while most low level reps do not reach the max wp/time to trigger it.

if I rememeber correctly its somewhere around 100-150 wp per 25pts, you also cap out at a certin point around 1000 wps per minute or per life.
Cleaning up the mess everyone leaves behind :)

Some people are only able to see the potential WPs.
Sure if nobody else comes to kill you using crappy equipment will lead to more WP, but if it's an actual fight you'll be able to keep your people alive while killing more of the enemy with better gear. |

I have been a logi since early beta. I only use proto reps. It is based off of time. The proto reps repair more at a time which equals less wp in the end because of the cap. I know you have been around awhile too shayz, but you are wrong on this one..
