Recently I've been reading a lot of people using the phrase "I don't care" and other phrases like it. But these people truly don't understand the meaning of this phrase.

The problem with this saying is that when you say you don't care, you're actually showing the world of dust nerds you do care. So in the spirit of not giving a damn, I'm going to give enough of a damn to make an official guide to not giving a damn.

Step 1: Not giving a crap is an art form. You have to show and prove you don't care, not just say it. Therefore, find the most annoying, scrubby tactic you can think of... and spam the living crap out of it. I've been mentioned by many as one of the best pilots of this game, do you think I devoted so much time and SP into ADS because I thought it was fun and engaging waste of my real life? Well, a little, but I did mainly because I could count how many people I pissed off enough to want me dead per match.

Step 2: Gun game. Have absolutely none of this, but find crafts that still make you annoyingly effective to those who have it. Face it people, gun game is for people who send hate mail, not for those who receive it.

Step 3: Insults towards your alliance. I'm truly amazed people even care about their alliances, but if you're the type to do so, you'll want to ignore these. If you can't, just change the subject. Talk about your baking skills, or good deals you find in grocery store magazines.

Step 4: Insults towards your corp. If you're anything like me, you'll take insults towards your corp or your own guys personally. Thankfully the FA.gs have reached a stage of not giving a **** as high as mine. So... just let your own guys do their thing.

Step 5: Insults towards yourself. If someone insults you, just own it. Usually you'll probably be called a scrub, the best thing is to just admit it, and move on sucking. The next thing you can do is if they decide to be creative about their hate, put it in your sig and wear it with pride. See my sig for example.

Step 6: Emergency not giving a damn procedures. In these situations where all else fails, your next step is simple.
All you need do is reminisce about the biggest monster dump you ever took. Dust players love reliving heroic dumps for some reason, and by telling your crap story, you will be honored in mead halls/parents basements all over the world. And it will be sung into legend, such as the tale of the crap so large, it had to be scooped out to be flushed in pieces.

Next thing if this fails is to talk about painful funny stories. Whether you deserved it or not is irrelevant, it is still a tale to be told. Mine was when I was in middle school. In one classroom I went in during lunch, they were painting bits of PVC for "lightsaber battles", and I was there because I had nothing to do until next class. I was laying down on the floor, chillin', when all of a sudden, a little petite girl my age takes some PVC and smashes me in the cubes with it. I was on the ground practicing girls choir for five minutes.

And if all of this fails, just blame it on modern television, they're the real villains.

So now you have a comprehensive guide on not giving a damn, use it well. I broke my not giving a crap policy to bring this to you.
