I've been running around in a scout suit trying not to lag out or death from rubberbanding, and ive been using remote explosives. i've seen that when you detonate them in a firefight, they do not seem to be reliable in that sometimes i need to mash the detonate button 3-4 times before even the first one goes off, at first i thought it was lag, distance, proximity etc, but I can not seem to find a rhyme or reason. also, they do not have a picture in my fittings, nor do they have a damage, only explosion radius (which says 500m) As a scout class, running around with some remote explosives is nice when you can get close to a vehicle or behind a turret and it is just a bit crazy when they are more unreliable than grenades (since they require a skill to use)
Also, i saw someone exploit sitting inside a small blaster turret and not take damage, even after 5 separate RE charges, and constant fire from myself and a teammate. I ended up blowing up the turrret and he still would not take damage.
Maybe it was mentioned elsewhere already, but some games i've been in spawn constant LAV's to the point that there is a pile of them. literally a pile. I dont know if someone calls them in, or they spawn like that, or the client glitches after some thing, but it happened a lot last night.
It seems that charged weapons lose thier charge when you sprint, i've been in a few games that they do not lose it (charge sniper rifle) when i sprinted. i dont know if it is intendid one way or the other, but it is not reliable in that it goes back and forth.
Lastly, sometimes when i queue myself for a game, and i wait, i visit fittings and market etc. Occasionally it kicks me out of the line, and the "waiting for game" message is gone, but in the screen i still see the orange arrow aside the game i'm trying to join. When i try to cancel the queue, i cannot. The only way i found to remedy it is to restart the client.

confirmed. I drop a remote explosive and no blast some times it even bleeds through the ground and is gone no explosive or explosion. unreliable in a gun fight. and the charge on the charge sniper riffle losing charge after sprint is nice for conserving ammo but does not always drop charge. |
