You're welcome to give it a shot.
I'd recommend getting a Bachelor's in Computer Science - General Concentration, first. That way you at least have half an understanding of what python/C++/java programming are.
And please don't say you can't afford it, if you live in America you can get a government grant that will cover a pretty sizable portion of your tuition and there is also scholarships available for -literally everything up to and including being left handed-.
At any rate, once your done with college, you'll want to have a portfolio of stuff you've worked on. I'd recommend a handful of mobile apps -that are actually functional and available on the iOS store/Google Play- otherwise you don't have anything to really show for it.
Once you're done with that you'll want to head over to ccpgames.com/jobs and throw in an application, but be forewarned as they usually require a few years of experience. Which brings me to the next part: You'll want to work for a start up company of some kind, preferably in game design, as there won't be any major companies that are going to trust their products/franchises in your hands right out of college for obvious reasons.
So, throw together a few Skyrim and Left 4 Dead mods - get them functional, working, and highly popular. That'll add to your portfolio a bit. While you're at it come up with a side project and throw it up on kickstarter, something simple like an indie game. But to do that you're going to need an artist to make it look fancy (and a writer, based on your grammar skills). Once that's done you'll need to ship it out to all your kickstarter backers. It is okay if you don't have any, Five Nights at Freddy's didn't earn a single cent from their kickstarter and they wound up selling thousands at least.
Once you've gotten a few years experience and a good portfolio under your belt you can apply at CCP, do the interview (probably over the phone/skype since they're based in Iceland/China) and hope you get the job. Once you do, then you can totally show those ****ers who's boss!
EDIT: Oh, and, word to the wise. Word on the street (job review sites) is that CCP Games likes to double-up on responsibilities. QA Analysts who, at other companies just test for bugs, have to fix the bugs they find over at CCP Games. That and I also hear they pay less than industry standard, so you might want to take that into consideration. Either way, I can't wait to see your CCP dev name!!
