Due to re.tarded "tactic" involved with myos and MD(insane jumping) this game became a disgrace.You can bash BF4/COD/CS but there are no noob scrubs who are jumping with a splash damage weapon.This **** don't need nerf,it needs to be removed from a game entirely,like it never existed before and there are many players who agreeds with me.
CCP will not give a damn about me neither i give a damn about them(same as playerbase).I will stay here until I sell all my officer weapons and suits and then i will **** off out of here until this jumping fa.ggotry has been removed from a game.Thank you for your time and take care.

It doesnt need anything but removal.I want Dust to be like before that jumping re.tardation.We don't need jumping at all.

Ah, who'd have thought that some people getting to play tribes ascend while others are stuck on the ground would be 'bad'.
Yet these people are entirely willing to scream about how much fun it is and how they should be allowed to continually exploit their massive advantage over others because it's 'fun'. They'll forever downplay how much of an advantage their movement gives them because they can no longer rely on king HP.

I'd like to see the jumping removed myself, however I don't see it happening.
What they do need are proper stacking penalties!!! They should make a merc slightly more agile nothing more.
Make it so stacking them for jumping is not worthwhile. |

The jumpers are typical CCP BS, way OP to start and left to ruin matches for months before a lame attempt at balance. Still too aggressive a tactic with no proper counter, nor is the stamina use balanced. Typical. Killing them with a blaster turret is fine but anything else is pretty sketchy.
I didn't lose many friends as a reaction to the jumpers. Of course, the reason I didn't lose many friends is because most of them had already left. Bada-boom!
My favorite tank is a Lightning. Just sayin.

The only roof camper I know is one ex corpmate that likes to fly a dropship,land it on the roof and fire from a missile launcher.I dont like to camp very much,only when i shoot on a tanks.

Maybe they're not doing that with you but this week it was awful to face them. With MM when you meet a squad you're often stuck with it for several games. We met one of your corp squad I think Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday, we played like 10 matches against them. They roof camped in every single one even if it wasn't advantageous objective wise. It was so boring. Some of them were even there with only a Swarm launcher, so the only objective was to stay there and repel the DS that would try to take them of the roof. |

First intention for myos: to help heavies jump curbs
Next intention: to clear roofs (like the mushroom) of uplinks and campers without a drop ship
Now: Scrub around with explosive weaponry while abusing bad HD and low frame rates, making it exponentially harder to hit you
I used to like myos, but looking at some old footage I had of mine, I noticed I could jump around for 10 plus seconds with a mass driver and survive heavies shooting at me for the perood because of terribad HD. It was then I realized how scrubby it was. I still like using it for uplink placement and clearing tho.

I really wasn't a fan of the change to myos, but that's primarily because when you take a game like Dust, which struggles pitifully but fails to get basic FPS mechanics right, it just looks cheezy.
Myos/jumping definitely have a place it the game, we just need to refine them - CeeJ's observations re stamina regen, stacking penalties, allowing myos to reduce fall damage, ensuring that the liftoff velocity doesn't break hit detection, control over jump height, etc.
Myos do add a lot to character mobility/routes of ingress to bases which is a plus for gameplay. Ultimately i feel that the games is just not ready for an extreme jump mechanic because the engine is not healthy enough to handle it.

What could be done client-side, is add the fire mechanic's to stamina, this way, people aren't simply holding down the trigger, once stamina is out, you lose massive amount's of accuracy.
