CCP, please implement this: When you are down and waiting for a medic, you should be able to see a location and distance from players carrying the injector If you are a medic, you should be able to see the position and distance of players that are down and in need of revival. Thank you for reading. |

Ah, interesting. I wasn't even aware I could be revived after dying. Up to this moment I thought the only option I had was respawning. :)
Now things make more sense when it comes to spending my ISK... |

Actually, that even makes good sense from a lore standpoint. Our suits let us track teammate's positions, and they presumably track the condition of the meat inside them, so it's not a stretch to alert medics. I like this. |

I completely agree with this, mainly because I carry the Nanite Injector and by the time I get to a body, they have already have bleed out. Which is rather frustrating. |

i agree with this post and all other post which are encouraging ways for medics to be useful, i tried carrying around the nanite injector as i wanted to keep my squad alive alas ive come to conclusion that in current build it is effectively useless so i stop carrying it in favor or nano hive. |

I wish there was a way to know if CCP already read a suggestion or not to know if bumping a request is necessary or not to get their attention. |

just a idea .....but you know you have that ui panel on your arm when you use remote explosives and call in orbital bombardments etc...maybe if your in a certain distance from a downed player..there is a single beep that tells you there is a downed player near you that if you press lets say left on the d-pad, before they bleed out it brings up the ui panel on your arm with a tiny indicator showing wich direction the downed player is at. i would like to see using the ui panel on your arm more in game if possible. (only happens when you have nanite injector equipted) |

I think this has been answered before but ccp will be bringing back remote repairers in the next build as nanite injectors were a temporary thing, like it says on the patch notes in game (non final). Man I wish I could add that to everything I say in RL, along with SOON tm... Yes honey, SOON tm non-final. Nanite injectors might be better implemented as buffs to functioning clones.
I dont like the idea idea of revives. In addition, for a PUG environment this might be a handy tool but organized teams will nae need this lad. |

I like this idea, allows me to evaluate whether to respawn and lose the suit or wait and revive right there on the battlefield. KIllzone 2 had a pretty neat way of doing this but all too often it was a pain to watch the medics run around just infront of you ignoring you suffering in pain on the ground like the morons they were, hopefully Dust will have a bit more tactical, savvy and on message players who you can actually call on over comms. |

MAG has a pretty good system for reviving players. I wouldn't mind seeing something similar to that here. |

Big +1
This really needs to be implemented. Right now we are in a vicious cycle of people instantly hitting O because they have no idea someone with injectors is near by and then people as a result stop carrying injectors all together.
An idea though: if you didn't want to implement the location thing across the board you could always make a "medic" module that broadcasts to troops that are down that you are nearby and can save them and shows the user of the module where downed troops are. |

MAG had the best medic system of any game I ever played. I didn't play Brink, but there was something I heard and seen about their medic system that I really like. Medics didn't revive players, but thrown them a syringe to revive themselves to use when they want (before they bleed out); this way allowed players the choice of picking when to get up, instead of being revived in the line of fire. |

I have the sneaky suspicion that the nanite injector will NOT be in the final build.
When you log into the game, one of the few screens you have to x through says "Nanite Injector (non-final asset)".
Also, I THINK I read somewhere on these forums that the nanite injector was thrown in as kind of a stop gap when they took all the logi tools out. Was kind of like an after thought that they hoped would help satiate the players that wanted to do some sort of logi work. |

I think this is one of the top 5 features that need to be implemented by release. Currently the medic system is almost useless. |

Not sure if this would fit apart of the topic or not but, Just like when you want to revive players, marking those that needs revive, when you run low on ammo it would be nice if you see markers on who have nanohives on their set up as well as see those who needs ammo, same goes with player healing, vehicle repair.. Sounds like a battlefield thing I know but, these are big maps and its hard to note who needs help with something. A friend of mine wanted ammo but I could not find him or tell if he needed it until he told me. I just started playing a few games so it could be because I am not use to the game as much as others or well.. Its just that.
Reviving team mates in a massive game would be useful though, to remove a feature it might be a tad disappointing :/ |

Yeah this is a must. Right now their is not much attraction for being a medic. espically as it seams you have to be in the right place at the right time.....no good. Another thing their must be some sort of call/ acknolagement system between medics and casuiltys. if i am down and am unaware of the nearist medics postition or have no idea that one is comming then i will respawn. this sucks for the medic who has just run the lenth of the field only for you to spawn monments before they arrive... time waste. I belive BF3 has a simular feature. |

Like an squad member call feature that pings your location on the radar... medic, ammo, heavy wepon, anti tank.... ect Something like this would bring more rapid cohesion and help to give a clearer current battle picture. |
