Don't get your hopes up. CCP is parading Valkyrie around, hoping someone will give a damn about it. Look at Hilmar's tweets about VR and what not. Dust 514 is not CCP's priority right now.

You have to consider the markets CCP would be tapping into on the PC. On Steam alone there are five times as many active accounts as units of PS4 sold. Each of those accounts represents one more player who could download Dust, one more person to purchase AUR. Healthy aurum sales lead to more development and increased focus on Dust 514.
Add to that, more players means more shorter queue times.
That's just the start.

Not saying there won't be people who play both, I'm just saying they aren't in direct competition with one another.

Void Echo wrote:Because I'm not going to shell out $2650 for a pc that needs to be constantly upgraded causing more money to be thrown at it when I buy a consol for $350 once and be done with it. Then you are in luck, because gaming PCs don't cost $2k. Hell, they barely cost $700. You can build a PC with hardware stats that surpass the PS4 with $500.
Anyone trying to convince you to spend $2k+ on a PC is probably a Dell salesperson
Also, point of clarification: the PS4 is $400, not $350.
