This idea is very basic. If the person who is in squad with you dies, they don't have to ask for help to get revived.
Asking for help is implied when being in a squad. It's the reason you're in one in the first place; because you understand you need help in winning a match. That you on you'r own can't win a match....
TL;DR
Not required to ask for help to get picked up by a squad member

I don't know if attention spans are getting shorter but every day that passes it feels like people are getting past the title of the threads less and less

That still creates the problem of if the person wanted to switch suits, wanted to modify a suit, wanted to pop over to another location, or if he was just in a bad spot when he died. Low on ammo, there were enemies coming right around the corner, he was sniped and his position was possibly being camped, etc. A squad member who's too quick with the needle could put their squadmate into an undesirable position. 'Press X to ask for help' should never be circumvented, even by a squadmate. |

All if this if you dont communicate or are in squad with people who you dont trust
