i think you should display the news on the screen that displays bunches of random stuff that means nothing to you. So you should make it to when you walk up to it and click circle a news bulletin appears, and it tells you when Corp Battles will take place, Special Sales in the marketplace, or when updates and new maps or coming out etc. I think it will be easier like that than coming to the website and searching for news.

it's in beta, they WANT AND NEED US to come to the forums to check it out and post, hopefully giving good feed back.
look in you're Neocom, i'm sure they will have something like that in there with a soonTM on the screen.

CCP knows that and does have something in place already in EVE that they can easily move here. But as RolyatDerTeufel said this is a Beta and they need all the feedback they can get. So all the news comes here in the hopes that when people read the news they also peruse the forums and possibly leave feedback. Rember this game isn't a Demo of the full capabilities that Dust will offer but the testing platform to ensure the program is stable and that bugs are Identified BEFORE they release it to the general public. |

You guys aren't getting it, I know a beta and the forums are for feedback. But this post is feedback in the full game or open beta sometime, i would like the big screen in your Mercs quarters to be a news bulletin not another forum inside the game. Things they could put on it is when events are happening and sales in the marketplace. i hope this helps you understand. |
