Perhaps this is irony, or perhaps it was intended, but I pre ordered Stick of Truth, and regretted it upon finding out it can be beaten in 15 hours. If you really take your time. And that the pre order bonus was good for maybe an hours worth of the game.

And that the pre order bonus was good for maybe an hours worth of the game. It was still an amazingly well done game though, even with its little glitches and clear lack of depth. The concept and execution were spot on, and if they really sit down and take a serious swing at a next gen title along the same lines, I really think they'll hit it out of the park....no pun intended.
I do not regret that purchase, though it was a little upsetting finding that the best weapon (or one of the best at least: spoiler alert) is a pink vibrating dildo that you find in Mr Slaves ass. And it is really ******* OP. I do not regret the purchase so much as I regret pre ordering and paying full price for a game that netted only 15 hours when I expected 40 or more.
I would have been much happier had I waited until the release, read the reviews, and realized I should wait til the price becomes more reasonable.
I also pre ordered Destiny, and while I enjoyed it while I played, and spent enough time to merit paying full price, I was still disappointed with what I was expecting given the buzz.
So I can say I have personally learned my lesson about pre ordering games. Just don't.
