Have ruined this game...Played four matches in a row, and in every one, people have left either my team or the other, resulting in either us stomping or the other way round...The more it happens, the worse it gets...last match, we won with both teams having over 100 clones, with 4 players left on the enemy team...WELL DONE! Just play the game, or do something else, but stop wasting everyone's time and ruining this once awesome game... |

It's just all the same try hards fighting each other with noobs sprinkled in for taste.
Most people just stay in matches long enough to finish up their "missions" then leave to go play other things. The game doesn't have a large enough player base for the matchmaker to fill spots as they're made, so really your complaint is with CCPs inability to draw in and retain more players.
You can only play the same couple game modes a few hundred thousand times before you realize you just played the same couple game modes a few hundred thousand times.

I wonder, if there were a PvE mode, if this leaving battle crap would be as prevalent? People who just want a super casual easy mode could focus their energy on shooting bots, and the rest of us can compete with full teams of folks who are in it to win it.
At the very least it would be cool if there was a reputation modifier, that builds teams who don't leave battle, and sticks em against other teams who don't leave battle.
Of course, either of those suggestions are impossible to realize without a large player base, which this game will never ever have, no matter what.
The only real solution I see is for guys like us to play nothing but factionals, and just endure the extremely long wait times, asswads on coms, and facing PC squads qsyncd in 3 of 4 matches.

Apparently Splatoon for the WiiU suffers the same problem. One of the two opposing teams gets stomped on because one of their players left the match. Keep in mind that in Splatoon your team is only 4 players on either side. If one of you leaves, that is 1/4 of the team gone and the rest have to make up for the loss.

see i want pve not to play against robots as opposed to people who play like robots, but to play against robots who play more like people than people do! and no lag too :)
plus PvE would help with a smaller player base although it may hurt PvP due to low player count so I don't know if it's the best thing to propose now, even though i just made a thread about it. |
