Since this is "tactical" FPS,can someone explain where in "tactical" situation we can use that ****?I only see that on public contracti combnined with PLC and MD.Do we really need that jumping?
Public skirmish = camping games,
Public domination = officer sniping games,
Public ambush = russian roulette

I used the plc before they added the damn jump mods. Trust me its harder to hot somone when your jumping stupidly high. Thana why. I keep my feet on the ground . But your question., I find it useful on my anor stacked assault. I can still jump over thoese small railings

Tactical sniper rifle, tactical assault rifle, tactical scramble pistol - that's all tactics Dust have. Everything else is just squad-camp-spam as much as you can in claustrophobic maps.

But that jumping was not needed at all,this game went from bad to worst.It's best to not nerf it but to remove it from the game once for all.

The only tactical use of them I see is to place uplinks on parts hard for other dropsuits to destroy. And in the case of av, plasma cannon or swarm work.

The thing is if we where playing on PC this would be a non issue as the jumpers would get shot out of the air every time. However as most of the player base is using a DS3 it seems a lot of players don't have the gun game to constantly punish the tactic (I include myself in this when my gun game is off). |

If the jumper is in close, they're almost impossible track as they literally jump right off your screen. If you are 30 meters or more away, they are sitting ducks in the air.

Jumping is useful for navigating blockades and placing/ destroying equipment, and providing suppressing fire from tactically advantageous positions. The usefulness of jumping in combat is ridiculously exaggerated in general discussion. However, there are a handful of guys that are really really good at jumping and shooting, and they sow butt hurt throughout the ranks.
If you think about it, it's really stupid how over-stable our guns are when we jump in this game. Our weapons should persistently sway in a semi random direction when we jump. Also, we should have to partially crouch to recover from any myofibril assisted landing, causing even more sway/ fire delay.
I disagree that jumping should be removed, but I do think it needs to be completely redesigned. Every merc should be able to jump higher than they do by default, and jump height bonuses need to be delivered by their own dedicated dropsuit modules.

in shotgun ranges you don't need a myro to jump away from a opponents aim, but you wont fly off the screen. (assuming you got no armor plate mods equipped)
myros allow you to access objectives in unusual ways that the enemy does not expect. It allows you to bypass guarded gates. (jumping over walls). It allows you to get to areas you need to stage as a flank attack to the enemy.
Decent players have good aim and can kill those that jump high in firefights. (sometimes having low sensitivity helps here, my hipfire sensitivity is 4)
Myros allow you to retreat in unusual ways that the enemy cant follow. (its like a speed mod sometimes because the enemy cant catch you)
It is probably easy to implement a accuracy decrease when you jump. |

As for now there are two issues with myof.
1. If jumper is close to you, you can't track him. He disapperas from your screen instantly,
2. It should take more stamina when jumping with myof.

Place uplinks where normal people usually can't. Able to ambush the enemy from above.

Tactically speaking, myos allow you to break hit detection in the vertical direction.
