I've been looking around, and I haven't found very much on them. It would be nice if you could use a little bit of the real Matari, or real Gallentean languages to give your readers that feel that you are reading from a certain races perspective when you are writing lore or are RPing. So I was wondering, where can you find it?
Kinda would be cool if there was a dictionary for each of the main empire's main languages. Would add another aspect of immersion into the game.

Namas Mr. Conway,
There aren't a lot of canonical references to the languages of the empires but there have been several player led efforts to create them for some time. I know of two major projects that have fleshed out just about entire languages for general use.
First is the Caldari effort, known as Napanii, which can be found here. It's used primarily by members of the government/military but still fairly commonly used since service is mandatory for many Caldari.
The other is is the Vaanin k'Intaki, used by the Intaki bloodline of the Gallente peoples. A short reference page can also be found here.
The canon Chronicle "Language Translators" also makes for an interesting short read.
Hope this was able to help!

Caldari has its language. Don't know (don't care) about other races.

Gallente is used in exported media but it's only an auxiliary language in the Federation itself. Thought that was pretty cool. |

If the Caldari JUST split off from the Gallente, wouldn't they share a language?

Caldari and Gallente occupied two planets in the same solar system allowing thousands of years of culture to diverge and digress into local qualms and wordings. Who knows maybe the original colonist also didn't share a language between the two planets.

Every member of the Federation's language is an official language so there would have been little push to abandon their indigenous languages. Only 20-40% of Gallente speak Gallente.

The Caldari lived along on their own planet for thousands of years. Why would they not have their own language?
