I just finished reading the Stranded series, in the fiction section of the Dust 514 page, and I can't help but think it's incomplete.

Don't know about you, but I'd like to see more of these. Something that would tie the EVE/Dust universe together.
Spoiler alert: It's about Balac.

IIRC lore has been backburner'd at CCP, the lamentable launch of the game probably didn't help either.

I want to know more about them -- about Balac.
I wondered why he has the Caldari Assault if he's Minmatar.
Maybe because it was the only assault suit at the time?

Realistically? That was probably the reason.
Thinking in universe, a large part of that story is about how disorienting and almost posthuman being an immortal is. He had been killing Minmatar and not realized it, it doesn't seem far fetched that he hadn't noticed he was wearing Caldari gear too. Especially since consciousness is implanted in a clone after it's created and fitted. (Gruesome tangent, Gallente and Amarr armor is actually attached to a clone's body, a process that would be excruciating if done after consciousness was transferred.) |

See, I never knew all this.
Playing this game I had limited knowledge of the universe...
