Gold bros vs Rust bras would be a cool event IMO. We got the Caldari prime event awhile back, not let the shiny/dirtys have some fun.

Every time the Amarr empire takes on a challenge it isn't remotely prepared for, the Minmatar Republic gains more power.

More than prepared for the storm that is to come, how can be be prepared to unite the cluster if we are unwilling to defend it. Worry about your own. If the Amarr cannot stem the tide no other power in New Eden can.

The Amarr don't plan to bend over and take it, but past experience has taught them to wear pants that bend comfortably at the waste when encountering organized redneck style Minmatar resistance.

I'd love to see some 'proper' factional battles like the battle of caldari prime but you're restricted to using the weapons and suits of the race you pick and we get booster FW rank for taking part in them.
Or under special contracts you're put onto a station in orbit and the 'boarders' have to fight from cargo bay to control room to take control. if your faction holds the station every member gets extra isk/sp/warbarge components ect while you hold it

Much more than just the factional and political crap the Gallente and Caldari fight over, the Matari and Amarrian sides would be about ideals and whatnot, as they usually are.

Asked CCP directly about this in Fanfest 2014.
Their response was that it was just too much work . Lets just hope CCP hits a home run with Valkyrie, because we won't see any more coordinated events until CCP's revenue is in check.

also when the game launched i was hoping for a 'Pikes Landing' event as well as described in the book as a minmatar vs amarr. would have been cool especially with a special background of the space battle too.
EVE has so many interactions and rolepllay events its a shame something isn't done for DUST. i remember when were suppised ot have had an events team to come up with stuff like that

Would be cool but I get the feeling CCP would just write the scenario as Minmatar-centric with the Amarrian characters being the typical Tony G caricatures of the unfaithful, disloyal, and or completely evil, as opposed to what many Amarrians are portrayed to be in other chronicles.
E.g-
