Dunno why we dont have more variation of existing weapons. I would like to have stuff like this:
-Burst scrambler rifle
-Tactical combat rifle
-Tactical Rail Rifle
-Breach laser rifle (low clip, high damage, short range)
Dont know why the scrambler+tac AR are the only single shot weapons. You could make the tactical rail rifle behave like a oversized bolt pistol with a bigger clip.

There "can't" be a variant for the laser rifle. A "laser" at least one that would be used as a weapon, CANT have short range. If anything, the current laser needs a range buff. That's things should be sniper like accurate.
The scrambler is the pulse version of the laser.
I do agree that we need more variety tho. I would also like to change all assault rifles to be named "plasma" rifles. Then they could be respectively named - assault plasma rifle, tactical plasma rifle, burts plasma rifle, and breach plasma rifle.

Tactical Rail Rifle AKA Giant Bolt Pistol.
A few (including myself) have requested this. As annoying as it is to be shot by this type of weapon it could still be perfectly balanced.
- Single shot
- High DMG
- 8 round clip
- 15% more range than RR
- .45 second charge.
Would be a fun weapon

I came up with a couple variants of this back in November/December and didn't get much love on the idea. People were screaming OP or unnecessary.
