As i was playing I though it would be nice to have some tactical skills. Such as tacking cover, blind fire, and dodging.
So something like this:
Main Skill : Agility (gives chance for bullet avoidance, and allows for wall sticking).
Sub Skills: Blind Fire: Allows player to fire from behind cover with out aiming. Breach: Allows for use of Flash bangs (Temporarily blinds enemy, and reduces accuracy) Clear: Allows for use of Concussion grenade (Stuns enemy, and reduces accuracy). Cover: allows for more effective use of cover. Dodge: allows player to jump behind cover, or out of the way of incoming fire.
Main skill: Leadership: Improves squad bonuses
Sub Skills: Tactical Movement: Player moves faster when moving with squad. Designator: Reveal Enemy units seen by other squad members. Guidance: Squad gains EXP boost Tactician: Squad gains Shield recharge boost Surpressive Fire: Able to mount Heavy weapons to cover, improves accuracy. |

There are different skills for every type of weapon though, so why not. Clear: Allows for use of Concussion grenade (Stuns enemy, and reduces accuracy). => Same goes here. You suggest 3 skills related to cover system when there isn't one ! oO
Main skill: Leadership: Improves squad bonuses => We don't know if there are squad bonuses apart from + 50% War Points. But yeah some skills related to Command are probably planned.

Guidance: Squad gains EXP boost => Same. it's already the case when squad leader sets an objective Tactician: Squad gains Shield recharge boost => Could go in the command skills. Surpressive Fire: Able to mount Heavy weapons to cover, improves accuracy. => Logistics and commanders will be able to call in specific structures. turret being one of them.

No cover-sticking, i liked KZ3 demo but its definitely not a fit for DUST, if you need cover just hit /\ by a wall. I like the fact you aren't afraid to post it though. i would be shocked if CCP didnt add a leadership tree, EVE universe and all that. Only spotting skills should be unlocking scope equipment. Scopes are to be used for spotting and target-painting. |

Bullet avoidance? Like every bullet has a chance to miss even if it was going to hit? The victor(s) of gunfights would turn from the player(s) with the better skill to who got luckier with their avoidance procs. |

Dust isnt a cover shooter, you add mechanics like that and you'll end up with endless corner camping like Socom4
Also dodging bullets? I mean I can understand better skills at shooting, piloting, even even leadership skills. But dodging bullets? Sorry but thats too Matrix-y for my taste. |

A major no in my opinion. You take cover by yourself press the Triangle button by a low wall, and you're covered. I've done this multiple times, and it has saved my life. Any addition of something that you suggest would be detrimental to the speed of matches as many people will take to hiding behind cover and shooting, completely disrupting the game pace and alienating many of the faster pave fps players that like combat, not camping. |

In Killzone cover is only in single player.
