Hm. Warframe has an "Extraction" mode, where similar to Acquisition(almost) a point shows up where you have to deploy a drill, and at that point keep the drill alive long enough to reap the rewards from it.
Let's just say, we introduce a DUST only mineral that is usable as a sort of shortcut material in EVE ships: Let's just call it Crystite.
So you'd go into "Other contracts" find a mining operation or simply queue for one, then you would play a seemingly normal Acquisition, except rather than once hte point is hacked it being able to be re-hacked, it has a health bar- say on that train map, the damage-able portion is the cargo can it's attached to.
Then when the drill either finishes or is destroyed, 15 seconds roll by and a new one is established. The game will end either at 5 minutes or when one team hits 500 Crystite, OR when all clones are eliminated(to give it a "you get paid for how hard you work" feel)
As for how it would work as a shortcut material in EVE, let's just say that every 20 Crystite can be used in place of 120 Megacyte, a (i presume) rare material used in the crafting of Battlecruisers(iunno i literally just found this), as seen here. Thus you could estimate that 220 Crystite will fulfill the 1287 Megacyte requirement in crafting a Harbinger.
EVE guys have tons of money, and dust guys don't need comparatively as much, so prices would be vastly differing in the initial stages I would assume, but I can also say it might be a hot commodity in the EVE community.
This would then let us later go into providing each team with a Oribital Artillery socket, allowing them to damage(not 1 shot) any potential EVE orbital support for the other team.
Hell, we could even make certain areas have a door or turret barricade that contain vastly superior quantities of Crystite gained per second, and would thusly require the EVE guys to remotely hack them or to destroy them outright, all timed in such a way that the enemy team doesn't take advantage of the conveniently removed threat.
