It's so dumb, but I have not logged as many hours on any video game as I have on Dust 514.

 What is wrong with me?

Does that mean that I think that Dust is the ultimate video game of all time?

Sure, I've had my epic moments in other games, but I keep coming back to this one, regardless of how f*cked up it gets.

WHY DO YOU DO THIS TO ME YOU BASTARD!? YOU HAVE TO RIP MY HEART OUT AND STOMP ON MY EFFING DREAMS!?!?

You do not know, HOW DAMN BAD, this topic kills me. Only one? ONLY ******* ONE!?!?

 ..

Do you know how many games I have played in my 23 years on this earth? DO YOU!? A bunch! Ranging from every freaking console and handheld! I have amassed so much experience in the gaming field. SO. MUCH! And you just rip it out of my damn chest huh? You bastard.

No. I will not play your game. I will categorize these "ultimate" games. Genre to Genre, of which I care for.

Best Fighting Game: This is a tie, between Super Smash Bros. Melee, and Street Fighter Alpha 3. I have played alot of fighting games, alot, and none match the styles and mechanics as the two. I would probably have to say Melee is better, but that is biased because I play that daily and am in the competitive scene.

Best Shooting Game: DUST for originality somewhat, Halo: Reach for nostalgia and getting **** right, Star Wars Battlefront II for being the best period.

Best RPG: Hard. HARD. This is hard. I refuse, too many good ones.

Best Adventure Game: Legend Of Zelda series /thread.

The rest can suck it, mostly because I am tired af and don't want to type the rest. Perhaps I shall finish my extensive list soon, If I am motivated enough.

Tales of Symphonia stands out in my mind as the greatest game of all time simply because of the time in my life when I played it.

Just provided one of the best gaming experiences of all time.

That being said it was closely followed up by Valkyria Chronicles, arguably the hidden gem of the PS3 system, which touched on all the right notes of a war story and was emotionally compelling.

Neverwinter nights series and Brood war were probably my longest favorites. Both games allowed heavy user content, though no where near the level of NWN. NWN developers essentially gave you the same tools they use themselves, rarely if ever do you see that level of control given to people.

SC2's story now is about as deep and intrigue ridden as a marvel movie.

IDK I could pick one as the 'Ultimate' game too many variables, I could name a favorite'ish and a few close but that's about the best I can do.
 Phantasy Star 3
 Golden Axe
 Fallout (1 and 3)

The Legend Of Dragoon. ps1, 4 disc rpg.
I first played it when i had a ps1 jam pac disc with tons of game demos on it.
It was the only demo game I played repeatedly, I told my mom I wanted it. I got it a week later & never looked back.
 Fav vids of it incoming.

I can't choose one, so like VAHZZ, I'll do it by category.

FPS: Counter-Strike 1.6, you can't beat one of the best FPS of all time. In a close second was Wolfenstien 3D because MechaHitler.

MMO: Tie between SWTOR and Dust 514

RPG: Tie between Baulder's Gate, Elder Scrolls Series, and Fallout Series (except New Vegas)

Adventure: Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, hands down.

 Fighting: Super Smash Bros.

RTS: YOU MUST CONSTRUCT ADDITIONAL PYLONS!

Not particularly. I don't normally like science fiction as a genre.

It was my first RPG so I imagine I'm extremely biased, but it was just so good!
