It's really crazy that a business as big as CCP isn't able to see the benefit of making an announcement. If they aren't able to make the port happen the game dies anyway. There's literally no downside to making the announcement.

The excuse the CCP fanbois give is that past promises have burned them. But it's one thing to promise a feature and it doesn't happen. But that only matters in a game that people believe has a future. A port is the future, this isn't even remotely debatable as the PS3 has an expiration date that is approaching.

I logical person cannot honestly come up with a valid reason for staying silent IF the intent is to port the game. If there is no intent to port the game there is every reason to stay silent. I'd argue that knowing this and continuing to act as though the game has a future is a bigger slap in the face by CCP than making an announcement but not delivering.

This is exactly what I've been saying myself. The answer to this point from CCP is always that they will not discuss it as a matter of policy, but that to me is ridiculous, when it clearly is jeopardising the game.

OK, I'm just about convinced that CCP isn't really interested in this topic anymore because they're not investing in a port.
