What else do you think is going to be added in with it? Or after it, at least. I'm new, so I don't know about all the things we were promised and missed out on because we'd hit the memory cap. I'd heard of a few things that were basically complete, though, but couldn't be added in because of memory constraints. Now that so much drain is being removed, there should be a couple of new things basically ready for us all to fool around with, right? |

To be honest i would like to have proper aireal vehicles. Light and heavy aircrafts should be in the game cause dropships are rather "meh".
Heavy aircraft= Gunship Light aircraft= Fighter
Gunships would be the flying equivalent to a tank and the fighter would be similar to a LAV but with much higher mobility. New turrets and racial HAV's and LAV's would be nice.

From what I've gathered, we'll be seeing:
-Tiericide with logis and commandos -Speed rebalance: Logis buffed, basic meds nerfed, assaults nerfed (more than basics), commandos buffed, basic heavies buffed -Rifle rebalance: scrambler nerf, plasma rifle buff, tac ARs brought on the same page as scramblers (whatever that means), other unspecified changes. -Amarr and Minmatar HAVs added, apparently missiles will be easier to skill into, because the spreadsheet shows amarr HAVs with rails by default, while caldari and minmatar HAVs have missiles by default -Fragmented missiles possibly reintroduced (lower damage, higher splash) -Logi rebalance, essentially making sure they all have the same number of slots (just different ratio per race), as well as a buff to cal logi PG/CPU, among other things.

My guess is it will need to be balanced.
I am sure there will be bumps in the road that need addressing. No one can predict everything that could happen right off the bat.
Though I am sure we will have some fun theory threads when its announced like every other release.

the tiericide has to come in two stages to do what is intended.
1: Slot flattening
2: separation of BPO dropsuits from their skins, so the excess suits can be eliminated.
This is coming in stages, so expect to see a gradual change, not an instant-application magic bullet of fixing.
WoW has taught me that Purple means Legendary. This means Quafe suits are the optimal loadout for killing all of you.

Iam getting the impression that, aside from PowerCores being a good idea and worth crunching numbers over, its introduction and tiericide are being seen as a given. Furthermore, common expectations seem to tend towards believing Tiericide to be a necessity to have PowerCores at all, which it does NOT.
The posted link shows that PowerCores can be done with as well as w/o Tiericide, bringing the amount of dropsuits in game down to 3 per race and gender using 11 PowerCores to accomplish that and cover MLT, Basic STD/ADV/PRO, Role STD/ADV/PRO and Officer suits alike. |

I'm pretty sure Rattati himself said that it's impossible to give or take away slots based on the level of power core. The number of slots is based solely on the suit. So in order to keep slot progression, according to Rattati, we would have to have different suits for each slot layout. |
