Let me assist TheD1ck since he seems to be trapped in his own ivory tower. This may seem scatter-brained, but I have no desire to revise my perspective into coherency at this time.
You act like you have walked the hard road. CAP has been removed from MH 4-5 times altogether. Wanna know what the community response was? Sh!t. No one cared, no one helped, we got laughed at for being mediocre compared to giants. There were no forum posts begging for our land back, no handouts, nothing. Back when clone packs cost 80 million, and Cubs charged up to 80 mil a district, so 160 mil just to get back on the map only to be insta-attacked by said giants. The odds and talent HAVE ALWAYS been stacked against our favor, going long periods of getting our a$$es handed to us repeatedly. We grew up in fire and brimstone, you grew up in a nursery.
I have catered to the latino community hand and foot during my tenure "on the top." Constantly supporting them with districts (FOR FREE as we let them attack a full hub and make their money back), ringers to defend their land against higher-tiers (ALSO FREE), whatever they needed to stay afloat. What do we get in return? Treachery, farming, abuse.
Let us analyze exactly what TLH really is. Since you, D1ck, say you support a healthy MH, you may want to take notice. Not only did they panicmerge (thus turning two competitive teams into one), but they smashed countless smaller/lower-tiered latino corps out of MH --- with the purpose of attaining more land, and the "star" talent from these smaller corps to bolster their own ranks.
Here you will see my intent of this war spelled out to them. If you watch closely, TLH's intent was/is to remove our land as they believe we (CAP) are dead. IMO, in the months I took off from this game, it's staleness only increased. I made my return to give my guys, friends, allies, and enemies something to play for before the final curtain call. These guys rumor that CAP is dead, that we are an easy target, so lets go then. These guys say they are the best - I will put that to the test, old Dust style.
Also, there were 30 battles yesterday between TLH and us. If we flipped 6 districts, that is at most 18 wins alone (do your math, my friend). Many other wins we ran out of clones for flip reup. All-in-all, we lost maybe 6 matches out of 30. To be fair, there were many more....my corp was quad stacked at one point, and with one team defended 4 districts against 3 teams at the same time.
These guys want to stack the living sh!t out of us on purpose, then so be it. But don't be crying because I showed up, assessed the situation, and fired the first shot. |

The only argument I see illustrated in your words is the sad fact that PC was actually much better when there was passive isk gen, as there was something to aspire to. Now, there is nothing but an isk sink and broken dreams.
I guess if we transferred this to real life, we would force professional sports players to have to pay money to play the game - just because there is an overwhelming number of people playing backyard ball who want to get paid too.
