Don't sell yourselves to EA.
I'll promise I'll regret every penny I've ever spent on this game if that happens.
There's too much potential here for them to get their grubby hands on and screw it up.
A fair payment model, a dev team that cares about making their game better for the players, and a company that truly cares about the quality of their product.
At least EA would hand it off to a dev that had the manpower to make a game.
In spite of all the work done over the last year, this game is still objectively horrible, in spite of me enjoying time playing it with friends. Visuals from 2002, controls from Doom on a 286 days, and all the performance of a Porsche 911 with the engine removed.
Looking at the current macro transaction model, it is hard to see how EA could try and squeeze more money out of players, and even if they did the game would get a huge rework before that.
The more I think about it, its too bad CCP couldn't farm out the dev work to one of the EA houses, would probably get a better product faster that way.

What are you doing lurking the forums of a horrible game? Do you really dislike it that much, or just being dramatic?
Also, what had this kind of visuals in 2002?
Also... hard to see how EA could squeeze more out o everyone? You realize spending money is optional in this game, and that spending money offers no solid in-game advantage. Those reasons alone prove CCP is better at handling the monitization than other big league companies.
As I already said, I enjoy playing the game with friends, but I can be objective and note that the game itself is bad while still deriving pleasure from it.
Being objective and enjoying a bad thing are not mutually exclusive.
You aren't really making any points, and all of this is moot, as Dust dies on the PS3, and most of the no lifers here won't stay once they find out their toons are getting killed off with it.

How about a couple of hundred for the warbarge, 60 for an Apex suit(better pick the right one), and then a subscription equivalent for boosters.
CCP is trying to make bank off of a ridiculously small sliver of gamers: Those with enough disposable income to waste income on an FPS, but not enough money to buy a PS4. That is a tiny, tiny group.
Although, given how skins have been priced in EvE, some of this might just be a corporate idealogy about their time being worth more than it is.
