OP AV is the biggest pain in the ass for any vehicke user. My HAV fit is very hard to take down requiring almost an entire 2 swarmers. -_- ohh well here it is
MADRUGAR GV.0
2 complex armor hardeners
1 complex 120 MM armor plate
1 complex armor heavy rep
1 ion cannon
2 gj railgun
1 complex heat sink
1 adv fuel injector
1 basic scanner ( or cpu )
If used right with max skill you can have continuous hardeners ( literally ) The heat sync is for the tank battles, and the fuel injector is a last resort. Also used to charge or strafe long distance railgun gun logis.

While a good fit, it's still incredibly basic, and essentially a proto variant of just about every HAV fit you see.
Can you swap out the scanner for a heat sink? Basic scanners only scan like, heavies. They have terrible precision.

mabye i havent tryed its mostly incase if you dont see a tank behind you

The scanner is pointless. Many of us already know the maps so shouldn't tankers use there brains to survive <.<
Good fit overall.

Usually I don't need a special scanner for that- don't know if it's my teammate's passive scans that are picking them up or wtf it is, but I tend to see enemy tanks coming from across the map.

If they ever fix gunloggis, plated maddies will be in a world of hurt, but as it is that fit is pretty much standard.
Gets cracked by missile tanks, which can normally run more than enough buffer to survive a reload.
You can either drop the plate down to advanced, or step down one of the hardeners and get a damage mod, even at basic helps with getting other tanks and hordes of infantry down. I personally like the reduced movement penalty of the enhanced plate, the extra fitting room is a bonus.
Although, proto blaster tanks are not really optimal, as it is only a matter of time before you eat a half dozen AV grenades, and that is all she wrote. I just ran a standard in pubs, save better hulls for missile and rail tanks, which at least have the advantage of being lethal at beyond swarm lock range.

That's pretty much a standard nowdays.
Everybody uses same fits.
Either plate + 2 hards + rep
Or 2 hards + 2 reps
First one deals with surprise alpha attacks.
Second is better math wise but alpha damage (without turned on hardeners) counters it.
And it usually looks the same. Fights. Boring as never before.
If AV doesn't help, you can only wait for enemy hardeners to go off.

Well you have to have those hardeners or the swarms would two to three shot you

You can only have 1 Heat Sink equipped on a vehicle. But maybe downgrade the 120mm Plate from Complex to Enhanced and then you should be able to fit a Damage Modifier.
