Fix scanners! one piece of equipment should not pick up the whole enemy team its redonculus, i know people will just be like "well dampen up" so your telling me my whole team has to go in low 'ehp suits with even less hp cos of the need for damps just to get away from the one guy with a 200m range scanner scanning my team. This is the stupidest thing ever added into the game, i mean it even shows which way an enemy player is facing on the radar. So stupid.

LT SHANKS wrote:I agree. Scanners are total bullshit: especially on a level 5 GalLogi. I will admit, I also have a Proto GalLogi with two Creodron Flux Scanners, almost 900 eHP, 20+ hp/s reps, and a fully skilled Boundless CR while only having a 2% speed penalty. The thing seldom dies if playing with a decent team while singlehandedly providing permanent scans for everyone to see. In a sense, it's quite the easy mode fit to use despite its costly price.
With a general "slayer" type setup and a combination of competent players, the GalLogi can and will win games just because of its ability to scan. Sure, dampened Scouts can get under the radar, but they are easy enough to deal with once someone catches them. Every other player, however, is subjected to an annoying "You have been scanned" message for the entirety of a game.
Damn those Japanese players. They made me do it. I wouldn't have invested any points into my GalLogi nor scanners if they hadn't kept spamming scans 24/7 themselves.
I've decided i will just skill into them and put one on every single one of my suits, just so people can feel my pain and cry about them. i will skill into gal logi, with scans and get everyone crying for a nerf. im now in a mission to nerf scanners. I will also make loads of video's with it so everyone will see how easy mode it is and do it themselves, then with everyone overusing the scanner it will get a destructive nerf just like the CQC RR did

And i laugh at your very original comment

No i just dont think there should be an active scanner, passives are good enough.

Bright Cloud wrote:People that complain about scans cant fight face to face and need to rely on scrub tactics like using a scout with a shotgun shoting people in the back.
its not that i cant fight face to face cos i can, its the fact when you have a big bright arrow flashing above your head the whole enemy team wants a piece at the same time.
