Hello. well I was thinking that this would be a way fro CCP to make cash, and some dust folks to finally get BPO's over STD level.
Proposed plan: If a player has 5,000 of one object, they unlock an option to make it a full out BPO. This BPO would have a
purple box around it, like the blue BPO's and the prefit yellow ones. this means that they will never be trade able, or sell able.
the BPO creation would cost AURUM, 20K for STD suits and guns, 7.5K for modules, and 14K for equipment. sounds good so
far, right?
Now for ADV, it would require 7,500 of the object. 70K Aur for Suits and weapons. 25K for modules. 50K for equipment.
is it sounding OK? ISK cost rises dramatically per level. the total ISK and AUR cost will limit people to pretty much
only basic or maybe an ADV one, unless they have billions of isk and don't care about $ cost. also, ADV suit BPO's will have
a slight PG and CPU cut. it will be far above basic but not right at ADV. it has to have some type of nerf to prevent problems.
Proto. I would say it would require 10,000 units of the item and 150K for suit and weapon creation. 75K for modules. 110K for
equipment. this is where a proto suit, or equipment would cost over two billion. if you have lots of isk, well good job. you can
have maybe one proto BPO and that's it. these proto suits however would have a slight to moderate PG and CPU nerf. this will
put it at far over ADV but be less effective than proto. still, the reason is for preventing problems.
REFINE OF OP
STD SUIT AND WEAPON BPOS: 20K AUR & 5K OF ITEM. ADV SUIT AND WEAPON BPOS: 70K AUR & 7.5K OF ITEM. PRO SUIT AND WEAPON BPOS: 150K AUR & 10K OF ITEM.
STD MODULE BPOS: 7.5K AUR & 5K OF ITEM ADV MODULE BPOS: 25K AUR & 7.5K OF ITEM PRO MODULE BPOS: 75K AUR & 10K OF ITEM
STD EQUIPMENT BPOS: 14K AUR & 5K OF ITEM ADV EQUIPMENT BPOS: 50K AUR & 7.5K OF ITEM PRO EQUIPMENT BPOS: 110K AUR & 10K OF ITEM
ADV & PRO BPO's have a SLIGHT nerf, values lowered slightly but above the lower tier ISK variant. MLT is not relevant. MLT should be removed or replaced.

So if I pay 75 dollars and dump an asston of ISK I can forever run Forge Gun fits of my choice at no cost in-game at prototype efficacy?
So stockpiling a prototype HAV of your choice for a couple months and paying what, 100 bucks wowill give you no-risk tanks forever?
How, precisely does this NOT fall under the auspices of Pay to Win?
WoW has taught me that Purple means Legendary. This means Quafe suits are the optimal loadout for killing all of you.

he never said anything about bpo vehicles, just suit items. there are people that actually run proto 24/7. dont know any names but my allies corp mates have seen such people, i have only seen youtubers go proto every battle.

and how is this idea NOT pay-to-win again?
It's a crap idea, but I'll entertain an explanation.
"Because proto tryhards can run proto 24/7" is not an answer. They worked very hard (at locking their districts) to earn (passively) all of that ISK!

They worked very hard (at locking their districts) to earn (passively) all of that ISK! yes run proto 24/7 that costs BILLIONS OF ISK. who the hell do you know that has over 1B beside like ANON illuminati or DUNA? DUNA can't get a proto tank, it would cost over 30B to just get the hull. and these are SUITS and GUNS, SUIT STUFF. vehicle BPO's are a whole other thing. this post is on suits and the stuff going on suits, not tanks.

I'm going to point out a few things on what is wrong with this idea.
In case you have not heard about it already, CCP Rattati has posted a thread based on another player-made idea that eliminates redundancy in the system. Since now we know Rattati is looking into it, let's see where you idea falls flat around here.
1. Your idea not only goes against the concept of removing redundancies but also adds redundancy to an already-taxed system. What you are asking CCP to do is ADD more unique suits that just simply do the same thing as any other suit.
2. If CCP Rattati is seriously considering implementing Aero Yassavi's & Avallo Kantor's idea, then your idea is pointless because then we will all get BPO suits anyways. Just not the BPO Core modules unless it's from a BPO suit you already purchased right now. Not only that, their plan will ensure that redundancy is eliminated in a big way.
3. This is highly Pay-to-Win unless you allow me as a player to sell that newly-generated BPO for ISK to another player directly. Even then, the first two points I mentioned still stand.

I would agree with this for standard. I would be very very very cautious to say we should do advanced. I am outright against proto.
