There have been a few people saying that when/if the Assault Suits speed gets nerfed, Logis would make a comeback. Now, I will explain to you why that is not going to happen. Lets just say that the update was released and Assaults we slowed down, let us compare what the Logistics would look like compared to the assaults:
Logistics:
Slow
No Sidearm Slot
Low Base HP
Slower Recharge/Repair Rates
More Equipment Slots
Assault: (After Update)
Slow
Sidearm Slot
High Base HP
Faster Recharge/Repair Rates
Less Equipment Slots
This information clearly shows that even if the speed of the Assault suits does get nerfed, they would still be better slayers than the Logis. 
The Logistics simply doesn't have enough base HP to keep it alive so you have to stack Plates/Extenders but that would result in the Logistics being even slower than the Assaults. And let's not forget that the Logistics doesn't have a Sidearm Slot!

Oh right I forgot about those, ok go ahead and stack some of them, maybe you would be able to get more than 300 armor with descent reps.

He's not new to dust, because at one point slayer Logis were a thing. The only thing that stopped them was a buff to assaults and scouts.
He might not be new but you seem to be, I use to be a Slayer Logi myself, not only did the Assault and Scout get buffed but the Logis got nerfed, I know, but ether way Slayer Logis will not come back, not with this update at least, and if they do, don't worry my ck.0 Assault will take care of it :)

If you don't know who Heimdallr69 is you obviously have not been around long enough to make that insult. And Heimdallr, I'm right there with you, setting up a slayer logi right now myself.
You 2 make me laugh, so you are saying that a Sidearm is not needed, and if you think CCP hasn't considered the changes then you must be really stupid. CCP wouldn't make the same mistake twice, everyone saw what Slayer Logis can do, I use to be one, I know, and you know it too.

It got its bonuses changed around and one of them was not getting 5 hp back a second(which was partially rectified with the base armour repair being applied to all suits now) Myself and most people here will be shelving their assaults in favor of Logis come the next big update. Rolling around with 800 ehp(what I currently have) better scan radius, 23-24 armour repair and proto scans for days seems like a obvious upgrade.
Man you are not very clever are you, do you think CCP would make it so that Logis can have that armour and repait.....no you are not very clever. Why would they make the Support Role be better at slaying than the assault role??? Tell me?

Oh, Ok, next time I'm having a gunfight with someone and my Primary weapon's clip runs out, instead of pulling out my Ishukone Assault SMG, I will out my K-2 Nanohive and throw it at the enemy.

Ha, I'm new to FPS, been playing FPS games since I was 7, and you are wrong, what if you have more than one guy, even with 100% accuracy you are fcked. Stop trying to look clever, everyone knows a sidearm is extremely useful, especially if you are using a long range weapon like the RR or LR.

Deadly Goliath, you have 0 knowledge of Dust history and what an overpowered suit the logi became... 1200 ehp Min Logis with hack bonuses and damage mods... nearly unstoppable Cal Logis with the TAC AR (in fact, that suit caused all of the initial nerfing that is being corrected today... shield nerfs, ar nerf, tac ar became nearly worthless vs alternates, etc). As well, Heimdallr started the gal logi fit that ran PC for 2 months about a year ago... an active armor tank suit with over 150 HP regen per tick... so I have a feeling he knows a bit more than you do on this subject.
Watch how you talk, I was one of those Min Logis. And any good player knows that a Sidearm is a very big part of a suit, especially if you plan on taking down multiple enemies all at once. You have 0 knowledge of FPS games if you think that a sidearm is not needed. Noob if you are not going to accept you are wrong, then at least be quiet.

After reading this, I have now realized you're a scrub forum warrior. No good player, or any player who knows how to watch his ammo count and hide, absolutely needs a sidearm. There were mercenaries who has played this game longer than you, in the days of Cal slayer logis who needed no sidearm. Back when one man logi squads could get an OB on their own. You don't just run out of ammo and 5 reds teleport to your location. Seasoned vets know how to attack and how not to place themselves in stupid positions. So on behalf of seasoned vets and Heim, sit down scrub. Summer school sessions are starting soon...
LOL, I've been called worse by better! As I said again,back in that day Logis had extremely high health and repair/recharge and assaults, heavys and scouts weren't good, it wasn't hard for a logi to dominate. But now it is different, other suits can fight back and a logis will get destroyed even if they sprint faster. Doesn't matter how accurate you are, when two three guys walk up to you and you have your RR out, shoot as much as you want, you ain't gunna drop all of them that is why you do need a sidearm.

One of the best FC's in the game was a logi slayer.
I couldn't agree more, I was a slayer Logi myself, but now it would be diffrent, Logis wouldn't have the health they had back inthe day, assaults would outgun them.
