How about a new high slot module to add to the mix and give people more options other than HP mods? I'm proposing a new high slot module that increases Bandwidth by a set amount.
Basic: +2 Bandwidth ~20 CPU, 2 PG Advanced: +4 Bandwidth ~30 CPU, 3 PG Prototype: +5 Bandwidth ~50 CPU, 5PG
Numbers are up for debate. Please discuss and thank you for reading ! Dislike. Sentinels should never have bandwidth. Suits already have more than enough bandwidth to support their own deployables. Defeats purpose of adding bandwidth to begin with. Sentinels also lack equipment slots.
But I can see tower sniping exploits enabled by this.
I highly recommendmaking this module incompatible with fatties.

Even at proto, 5 Bandwidth isn't even enough to fuel a compact nanohive. At the very most I would see it as used to round off certain bandwidth numbers to be more customizable. For example, if you have 12 bandwidth and want to set down 2 uplinks(4) and a compact nanohive(6), you need 14 Bandwidth. A basic module would take a high slot from your loadout for 2 more BW. It's half of the bandwidth for a single piece of equipment. At proto, 5 bandiwidth is barely enough to hold a single uplink, and is NOT enough for any of the armor repairing nanohives.
As far as heavy frame abuse, a player would have to go through great pains to set it up, hoping the equipment doesn't get destroyed while they switch fits, and actually survives long enough to be useful.
Thoughts? drop uplinks. towers. forge guns.

I'm thinking this could be highly abusable by sentinels because a dropship requires work done over time, and at risk of losing a vehicle to an enemy forge/swarms.
allowing a forge sniper to maintain said uplink negates one of the very reasons sentinel bandwidth was set to zero:
To force tower sniping shenanigans to involve team activity rather than solo hero stuff.
Or at least risking some assets.
Because while Vehicles are currently seen as very powerful because of the madrugar, they won't always be that relatively powerful.
Easy tower sniping means that you can hit a tank from an angle that they cannot retaliate against on many maps.
Also on several maps rather than firing UPWARD at a dropship, which gives the ship an advantage which compensates for lower HP, some maps allow tower sniping that usually puts most dropship activities on an even plane with the gunner, or below the gunner, both of which are much easier shots to manage, especially with commandos or assaults nearby rocking swarms.
I'm usually putting together a lot of factors in my brain and I will admit I have a nasty habit of skipping steps explaining things. I firmly believe that Sentinels should not have bandwidth enabled under any circumstance.
Especially if we get any sort of racial parity involving longer range anti-infantry weapons and long-range heavy weapons for AV. I consider it future-proofing against marginalizing other roles.
As it stands the gold standard before was to set up links/hives and then spawn heavy. Allowing one of either negates partially the intent of keeping heavies from using equipment suits as disposable heroes and reaping the benefits of having equipment they cannot otherwise carry without team support.
