Fug I get frustrated with the culture of CCP.
Because he's the lead and likely assigned the resource(s) best suited to fix this issue to look into it. |

Aero Yassavi wrote:Currently Marine Loyalty SKINs are the only unique collectable with no cheap instant way to achieve it. You can't buy it with Aurum like everything else and you cannot find it in a strongbox. The only way you can get it is by earning it in FW. Because of this, it becomes special and worth the high LP cost. If you make it tradeable, that is instantly killed.
Keeping Marine SKINs nontradeable will uphold their status as a true symbol of loyalty, their intended purpose. For those wishing to convert their masses of LP into sweet sweet ISK, there are still viable outlets such as APEX suits, Specialist weapons, and equipment better than proto.
I agree with this. Loyalty items should be earned, not bought second hand.
I think the strong box skins should be tradable asap. I got a serpentine skin for Galente medium frames which I have no intentions of skilling into. |

Some of us can choose to be loyal to one side and should be rewarded as such, but you cannot ignore the fact that you are a mercenary by design. You are only loyal because it's convenient for you. If they want a status suit to show their loyalty to a faction, It would be better to have a Faction Loyalty Rank requirement for the suit to work, rather than a trade restriction.
I like this idea. |
