GǪ. So now that "trading" is released in this game, every hotfix that arrives seems to garnish 6+ pages of descriptions and discussions about "the new Skins and Outfits for my Min collection!", and "Are BPOs guaranteed to still be chic for me to wear when PC 3.0 comes out next autumn?"GǪ and nearly ZERO mention about the battlefield tweaks.
Oh my Lourde, you players are more like Valley Girls and Charlie's Angels than I was as a teenager 20 ye--- err, I mean a few years ago. (GǪ..)
Meanwhile,GǪ on the combat subjects, LOL, there have been a few interesting adjustments in this hotfix:
Several gun installation TYPES have been swapped out on our most violent maps (battle-at-the-bridge, trusses-n-stairs map).
Blaster Installations appear to lost some of its tight-pattern-fire, but GAINED some damage-per-round.
Railgun Installations seem to have a new "color-changing" lock-on dot when aiming at a target. The hit-detection also seems to have been corrected.
But I wish I could say I've observed lots of good news.
Players in matches (even Domination matches) still regularly hack-n-abandon the Null (the primary, usually SOLE means of winning the match), and dash around in self-interested hopes of improving their personal KDRs (GǪstill playin as if this is CoD or MoH).
Carrying 6 uplinks seems to have created a variation of spamming, where instead of having 15+ uplinks spread like peanut butter over the entire map, every match now has 8-10 uplinks blobbed over the objective to create LESS comprehension of the battle and MORE casualties due to happy-frisbee-deployment in lakes, on busy HAV freeways, and under horses' behinds. (Could we please go back to carrying 2 or 3 uplinks?)
Players (new or casual or chronic) can still lose interest in participating and shy off to the outskirts of the map for the rest of the matchGǪ even in the first 3 minutes of gameplay or when our side hasn't even suffered imbalanced clone loss yet (GǪit is STILL so easy to break players' backbone and leave them spending more time backpedalling in fear and loss of moral than walking forwards anyplace----Dust is the only game I know that can do that to playersGǪ.wow)
