The LP SKIN concept is sound, however. We need to urge CCP to take another look at these skins. They need to stand out and be much more visually unique. Something like the Rattati Assault (coincidence that the most visually unique and interesting suit paint job is on Rattati's officer sour? Hmmm)
The one you bought, Min M, is especially lackluster.

Well to be fair they're following the EVE FW corps not the Dust FW corps. Meaning the Imperial Marine skins for example are based off the 24th Imperial Crusade rather than the Imperial Guard. They could go with any colors they want and not break lore.
The Amarr loyalty skins are the best in my opinion but even then I have some issues. Mainly the Amarr medium skin being kind of lackluster and the bottom back of the heavy's battle coat being full white.

As if it's not already a competitor anyways. People are upgrading. And honestly I'm incredibly hyped for Battlefront but in the end I won't have my own character with a name, I won't have a large skill tree, I won't have highly modular fitting, I won't have an in game economy with fittings, I won't ever have to choose between combat performance and profit, and I won't have custom in game chat channels allowing me to field command 15 other people with relative ease.
There's a lot to appreciate about Dust over the top hit shooters. I just wish it was on a modern platform because I have a hard time convincing people to download a PS3 game.

The one you bought, Min M, is especially lackluster. Also going to mention again that the price is INSANE. I'd even be okay with 100,000 LP if it didn't also have that enormous ISK price tag. Given you get absolutely nothing gameplay-wise from buying one, the price is going to ensure all but the most hardcore RP nerds are going to just say no.
The isk tag seems a bit unnecessary
