Hey I know it's just the beta but could you please make the gun play a little bit better. I'm tired of having a guys run straight at me and just shrug my bullets off. I understand with RBS and my less-than-perfect aim that some bullets don't make contact but I'm guessing about 60-70% do. That's roughly 40 bullets out of the 60 clip and the guy is fine. I know DUST is more than just an FPS but the gun game is an important part and it's no fun where you have guys just jumping in circles continually reloading since neither player can kill the other before their start shields recharging. I'm not saying to jump on the COD bandwagon and have whoever shoots first gets the kill; I understand that there needs to be some time for people to react and counter but having to use 2-3 clips to kill someone is insane. Also, instead of damage upgrades just have the guns being better. Not fun for new players who are shooting a guy in the back when they just turn around and kill you with 10 bullets. Don't put lower level players at such a disadvantage because how are you supposed to learn when you keep getting slaughtered? Noobs will be less skilled but they should have an equal chance to kill and be killed. It shouldn't matter if you've played 2 hours or 200 hours. If you have the skill you should be able to kill.
Onto my second point which goes hand in hand with the first, please make the armour a little bit more even. Obviously heavy armour should be able to take more punishment but considering they can walk through 2+ guys and not die is not fair. It honestly takes 2 full clips with all bullets making contact to kill someone. It's no fun when you have some players Juggernautting and just spraying-and-praying. I know classes in this game are designed to be specialized and heavies are supposed to be able to attack vehicles, but I still think regular assault soldiers should still be able to go 1v1 with them.
I've only played this game for 5ish hours over the course of two weekends and I know people will say that I should just grin and bear it until I level up, but I don't think games should favour high level players this much. I'm jumping and 180ing but you have some guy crouch walking straight at me who kills me just because he has better armour and damage buffs. I want the gun play to actually depend on skill and accuracy. |

yeah, i agree with you on this point.
The game is Shockingly unbalanced, with people who play more becoming immortal while people just starting out find it to be frustrating and hard and ultimately stop joining.
I think the problem with this game is that it IS Pay-to-Win. just not with real money |

No, they shouldn't. They should fear them and land headshots as the heavy sprays his way in. Or run away.

If their skill is equal to yours then you will indeed need to grin and bear it. This full game will not play to the lone wolf COD shoot em up one man band. This is a mercenary team, working to gain control of a battlefield and complete an objective. Therefore noobs will always be useful even if for being bait. A good scout doesn't need to kill as much as get good intel. Granted kills give XP but being late to the game matters not. Being a team player is paramount. Just my 2 cents.

Weird I find my mic works fine with many people to work together even in these random games. The ones who communicate and organize will win the day. |

Is there even a headshot bonus? I find shooting them in the head takes just as long to kill as a body shot does. And I don't want one man tanks running around in heavy armour. Sure they'll have an advantage but right not a heavy VETERAN isn't even killable :( |

As someone who played alot of that there Battlefield on PS3 and has used team work with many people i am freinds with from the likes of COD, MAG and the like, currently DUST is geared towards teamwork its just not happening due to all the people running off to do run and gun because well it works right now assault is the staple troop but is too able to take on many of them self's by simply out maneuvering them aka strafing which is killing any teamwork as it takes to long to actually kill the enemy so reviving is not working because people want to get back out there so they bleed out and the enemy is just around the corner running around shooting at a squad who cant kill him quick enough to save there team mate |

no one takes 40 bullets hit detection needs fixing not damage or speed please search, every new guy that comes in always complains about this without actually knowing what the problem is.
ever wonder why said players can turn on u and drop u in less? better players who already know how to deal with the current issues.

Make the maps smaller then. Hard to work as a team when everyone pushes up and is spread thin. |

u are expecting teamwork with randoms, thats where u went wrong to begin with. BF3 has no teamwork with randoms dont know what BF ppl have been playing but seeing as 1-3 ppl can win a game of conquest by themselves in a pub or win a game of rush...yeaaa
high health also promotes teamwork btw. its called team shooting/focus fire |

Yes i agree high health is good for team work in fact i think its a refreshing addition to modern shooters takes the oh god a enemy spray and pray and he dies but high health combined with the strafing speeds is realy encouraging run and gun lone wolf players and yeah iam well aware of the hit detection issues of late iam not a new comer, i hope hit detection does fix it to some extent but ive actualy got the hang of the hit detection and lag mix and i find iam splitting from the group in DUST for some reason
