when you march into battle at a disadvantage, the sound of the ticking clock echoing in your mind and the enemy's most forward units are suppressing your comrades, that feeling of helplessness is where the emotional content of this game begins. When you are outnumbered and neither a brick tanked dropsuit, nor bravery are enough to push through the enemy ranks, you may be asking yourself, "what can I possibly do?". It's just a game, but facing that challenge, and mustering up some reason to go on is the defiant power of the human spirit, and that emotional connection to adversity will bind you to the moment. Win or lose, you'll walk away a changed person; weathered. And when you can decidedly say "Nothing is gonna keep me down; not pain, not conformity, not attrition, not fear," then you have won at Dust 514.
I have watched many of you in your moments of valor, and I personally know that some of you battle physical limitations and pain on a daily basis, and I salute you all, my friends. You are unstoppable.
PSA: Please share this when you know someone is about to leave battle. |

2 things always get past the enemy, and these 2 things are what I respecced COMPLETELY into (aaaw shiiit, for the first time in 3 years I'm specialized)- scouts and dropships.
Ofc, the dropship has to be called in as far into the redline as possible, then afterburn to the flight ceiling.
Some details can be ignored

I really don't get that perspective, real life has lots challenges , you can work harder at your job and relationships, for me a game is just about goofing around.

I have no problem with losing.
I have a problem with the enemy team seeing the lack of opposition as an opportunity to pull out better gear. (Or continuing to run proto.)

I will die valiantly (and often enough), but just sticking around for no payout while the proto stacks on the other side work on their 16th victory du jour isn't going to happen. I pull the rip cord when it suits me, and I feel not one pang of guilt.
