I didn't understand anything from that post other than a lot of change is coming.

Instead of having all the current tiers of dropsuits we have now, they will all come in one tier with prototype slot layouts. The PG/CPU will come from modules called power cores, and those will come in different tiers. An advanced power core will give you the PG/CPU or our current advanced suits, and a prototype power core will give you the PG/CPU of a prototype suit.

The advantage of the idea is that you get to get rid of assets that take up memory. Instead of having say standard Amarr assault, advanced, Amarr assault, and prototype Amarr assault, there will just be one Amarr assault.

And tiericide at the same time? Ok, I just don't like the complexity of it.

Batteries determine PG/CPU. tiericide accomplished. and it fixes a lot of sh*t that's been continuously going wrong in theory. WoW has taught me that Purple means Legendary.
