Greetings Dusties~
Jade Tech here. =P I've been gone for a bit, inactive for reasons that should not concern or even cause you to lift an eyebrow at, so I won't bore you. However, I feel I've come to develop a slight interest in something about this game to bring me back for just a while longer...
I'm talking about statistics...
And before you take off and be the scrubs you are predestined to always be, I'd like to make things interesting for you all, but before I get to that, let me explain what I'm talking about...
Google forms has been calling out to me for the past few weeks, tempting me to examine and analyze statistics about a variety of subject and experiments. I have already conducted a valid amount of data to be somewhat experienced with the tool, and I have come to a conclusion that I would be very eager to create a survey about Dust 514...
This experiment will reach farther than any kind of statistic the game developers can grab off their servers. Of course, the quiz would include some stats about your characters and such, but I'll be asking more personal and specific questions about your Dust 514 experience in general. Results that will come to fascinate me and the community when I do collect enough data to publish the report. And I believe this experiment will provide some interesting statistics that can be viewed freely~
Now I wouldn't just present this opportunity without some sort of incentive~ :D
That's why I've come to a consensus that I will be rewarding isk in some way to the survey takers! :3 I've come up with a few ideas and plans, but nothing is certain just yet! I might as well be rewarding people suits and gear as well, since I have no interest in making a profit in this game anymore~ XD
Until I come up with a definite plan, survey questions that won't be confusing or skew-able, and a specific reward system for the quiz takers, I will leave this here for you peoples to discuss and or ignore with no particular interest. Either way, an update will come soon with the link to the quiz, which will be heavily monitored and secure so people don't screw up the data! :D
(And yes, I have contemplated putting this in General discussions. Shush. X3 )
