Maybe not you, but some of us do fund players.
It was like that in Z Platoon.
You'd be surprised what you can do with a few mil and 200K LP.

I never stated this was like Z Platoon.
We were selective in who was brought in and paid those who were loyal to the State.
I won't pay anyone in STF unless I know they're loyal and dedicated -- and if they were balls deep in an objective with me because I like to solo objectives.
And you'd be surprised what a little incentive does to players.
