You misread.
It says only the decrypter key used to lock it can unlock it. Meaning a Hacked key can open it. If you read the description on the hacked key this should make more sense.

Victor, there is indeed another way to open them, as CCP hints at.
A few of us have discovered the secret, quite by chance I can assure you.
For 50 million ISK I will reluctantly in game mail you the secret, but you must agree not to divulge it to anyone else.

Strongboxes are made to be opened with only a matching key.
A Hacked Decryptor Key is able to open boxes universally by over riding the programming.
So in essence what we are NOT given is the legitimate way of opening boxes and have to be "crafty" by using a hacked key. |

This sounds like a fantastic idea!
I don't have much ISK though as I'm quite new to the game, could I perhaps offer you some of my worldly possessions or perhaps you'd like to 'use' my sister (or brother)?
Or if this is not to your liking, perhaps one of my organs? I have 2 eyes, kidneys etc. so there are some going spare. |
